After signing the contract with Zhan wemei they immediately started working on her designs.
They hired back some of their loyal workers. There are about twenty who came back to work for them.
Zhan wemei build a back courtyard in the shop and they used it as their working space.
They couldn't help but exclaimed with glittering eyes while admiring her designs. They haven't seen such exquisite designs before; they were so excited to work on it that they managed to complete the items to their finest detail in no time.
Zhan wemei visited them today as they would be opening next week, she also just finished designing the items she especially designed for herself, for the twins, madam Jiang, and the staff.
She was stunned as soon as she entered, everything was actually on set and ready to go. "Uhm, don't you guys still have a week to complete the finishing touches?" she asks doubtfully.
"hehehe, we work hard to complete them before the deadline because we want to admire your designs miss Zhan" Bei Wanfeng laugh sheepishly.
He was totally impressed by her designs that he couldn't help but work day and night to complete the masterpiece.
"oh I see, hahaha you guys should rest well first. We would be opening at the set time, since you finished quickly I'll pay you twice the amount. Also, I have a request" she added with a gentle smile.
"you're too kind miss, what's your request? We would do our best to satisfy you" Bei Wansheng spoke this time as she came forward.
"here, I just designed this. I want to wear them during the opening" she smiled as she handed another set of designs.
"Woah! Miss Zhan, can you design something for us too?" Bei Wanfeng sighs enviously. The clothes Zhan Wemei designed were all for women. This is the first time he saw her designs for men but it was clearly meant for a kid.
"Really? do you think men would also want one?" she knitted her brows thoughtfully, she indeed didn't think about designing items for men.
"of course, why would you think that we wouldn't like to wear exquisite clothes as well?" he asks dazedly as the corner of his lips twitch visibly. He even sounded aggrieved.
The others laugh when they heard his reply.
"you do have a point; I'll try to design something later" Zhan wemei click her tongue. "ah, you know what, I'll do it right now" she paused as she went upstairs and look for paper, brush, and ink.
She stayed on the second floor for several hours, when she came down she handed Bei Wanfeng ten designs for men and another one for him with a yawn.
"Just these? Do we have to mass-produce it?" he asked with a raised brow.
"nope, I'll send some more later. For now, just these. I don't want anything to be mass produced nor do I want to produce anything similar. It would greatly affect its value" she explained casually.
"oh right, it's indeed the case. It won't be considered rare and valuable if there are too many of them" he nodded in agreement as he just realized it.
