You're a Troublemaker

Chapter Two- I'm Not A Nerd!

I was glad the bell rang mainly because I wouldn't have to sit by Asher. I mean what's his problem. I just asked for a pen and it seemed like I was asking for his kidney.

I was gathering my stuff when the pen was yanked from my hand.

"Thanks for my pen back nerd." He said then walked away. I stood there, trying to figure out what happened. Wait did he just call me a nerd. I am not a nerd. I don't even like school, or reading, and I don't even wear glasses.

I went to my locker and tried to figure out where my next class was. I noticed Asher by the end of the hall. Maybe he could help me out and tell me where my next class is.

"Hey!" I said at Asher who was at the end of the hall walking in my direction not looking at me

"Hey! " I yelled a little louder pushing his shoulder as he walked by.

"What do you want nerd." he snickered looking annoyed by me.

"The name's Liz and I'm not a nerd." I said glaring at him.

"And I don't care." He said.

"But I do." I said.

"Is that so." He said as he smirked.

"What?" I said getting a little pissed at his smirk.

"Nothing." He said walking away.

I usually don't care about guys. I really don't pay attention because I know that it won't be long until we move again.

I closed my eyes, let out a big sigh and closed my locker.  When I opened my eyes a brunette girl with big blue eyes scared me.

"Geeeez!" I said almost dropping my books.

"Hi I'm Ashley! I thought since you were new I could help you out!" She smiled showing her bright white teeth.

"Hi. I'm-"

"Liz Madison." She smiled.

"You didn’t see what happened a little bit ago did you?" I asked.

"I got a little bit of it but don't worry, he's always like that." She smiled.

"How do you know?" I leaned back on my locker.

"He's my twin brother." She smiled like she was proud of it.

"Really? You guys seem like total opposites." I said remembering Asher's crude attitude.

"That's just a cover. Deep down inside, he's actually very sweet!" She smiled

"Oh." I said.

"Enough of talking about Asher. Let's get you to your next class." She grabbed my hand dragging me down the hallway. She pulled on my arm until we stopped in front of a classroom door.

"This is it." She smiled.

"Okay." I said as she started to walk away.

"Hey Ashley." I said as she turned back around.

"Thanks." I smiled.

"No problem." She smiled turning back around.

Lunch time couldn't come any faster. My stomach was making noises in my second period class. The food didn't look too bad especially compared to the last school. After I got my food I tried to find a spot to sit. The cafeteria was full. I looked around and in the corner of my eye I saw Ashley waving at me motioning for me to come over. I smiled and walked over to the table.

"Hey Liz!" She smiled. Ashley is all smiles it seems. I can't see how she is Asher's twin. Speaking of Asher, I didn't even notice he was at the table until I sat down.

"Why did you invite the nerd over?" he looked at me with his blue eyes. "Don't call her that and she's my friend." she said throwing a cracker on his tray.

Asher and Ashley have the same color of eyes and hair. He looked really nice in his fitted black V-neck shirt. I could tell he was fit but not too fit. Looked from his perfect chiseled chest back to his eyes. I knew by the look in his eyes I've been caught checking him out.

"Stop checking me out ner- I mean Liz." He did a hot half grin.

"I was not!" I feeling a blush forming on my cheeks.

"Leave her alone Asher." Ashley said shoving his shoulder.

"Whatever." He said getting up. He grabbed his tray and walked away.

"I apologize for my brother's INSENSITIVITY!" She said making sure Asher her the last part.

"It's okay." I smiled at her then watched.

"So are you doing anything after school today?" She smiled wide.

"No, Why?" I asked curious on what her intentions were.

"Well I was wondering if you wanted to hangout at my house." she batter her eye lashes at me.

"I don’t know." I said. I just met her today and it's my first day of school

"Asher will be there." She smiled.

"Why would I care if he was there?" I was shocked at her statement.

"I don't know." She said stuffing crackers in her mouth.
