1 • Love at First Sight

You make your way down the busy Chicago roads, eyes glancing from your phone to the sidewalk in front of you. You're looking at a BagelGram model.

'Gosh, she's so pretty,' You think to yourself, 'I wish my crust was as soft as hers.'

You sigh, and continue scrolling. You forget to watch where you're going, and crash face first into a tall, strong piece of bread.

"Ah-!" You gasp, accidentally pushing both of you two into a puddle.

As you fall over you lock eyes with the stranger. In your eyes, he's quite attractive.

Flustered, you scramble to get up off of him. You immediately start apologising for the accident. He holds up his finger, signalling for you to stop ranting. Why did he look so familiar?

"It's really fine, besides the rain feels nice." He says in a deep, masculine voice that gives you chills.

"Oh.. I'm still v-v-v-very sorry, I truly didn't m-m-m-mean too." You say, blush rising up on your pale sourdough cheeks.

"I already said it's alright." He replies, not breaking eye contact.

"Uhm.. can I make it up to you over dinner? P-p-please?"

He looks at you curiously, before answering, "Sure, can I get your number? My name is Jake."

You look at him shocked. That's why he looked familiar, he's the Jake from Royale High!!

"O-o-o-o-o-okay. M-my name's Maia." You respond cutely, " S-s-s-s-s-sorry I-I have a stutter. " You say while twiddling your fingers.

Jake laughs in masculine. "It doesn't bother me, babygirl. Its cute. ;)"

You blush harder at the pet name. You barely knew the guy, and you felt like you were already in love.

"So.. does 7:30 a-a-a-at Peepee's Pizzeria work for you?" You asked nervously, you didn't know if he liked pizza. You did, you ate the yumyums everyday.

He looked at you and said seductively, "Yes babygurl, I love pizza." Then he did The Rock eyebrow raise.

Your heart melted when he did The Rock eyebrow raise. He was all you wanted and more. It was decided, you already loved him.

"Y-y-y-y-yay! See y-you there!" You replied happily.

Jake nodded and walked away.

You were so happy and excited about your date with Jake, that you start skipping across the road to get to the other side.

But unfortunately, you weren't looking where you were going and got hit by a school bus!!

"HOOOOOONK" Said the school bus, but you didn't hear it.

Then everything went black.
