Ok, first things first. You need to find a space that is quiet, peaceful and can help you ground yourself. What this means is no immediate distractions, no chores nagging the back of your mind, you simply need to be aware and in the present.

To do this, the best place would either be your bed where you sleep or in a room where you know nothing needs to be done and no distractions will take place.

It's hard to do that especially if you're a mom like me. My daughter is constantly trying to get my attention when I try to shift, but do your best. If you're a parent or someone who has younger siblings or nieces and nephews, I'd suggest the best time to try to shift is at night when they're asleep and when you're at the cusp or sleeping as well.

To get into the proper mood, you're going to need to go over your script so that the details are fresh in your mind. The next step would be to play some subliminals so that your mind can fully be in the shifting mood. I've put a link to a subliminal I really enjoy using and which helps me a lot, but if this isn't helping you, not to worry! You can just search Avengers or MCU Subliminals on YouTube or Google and can choose the one you find most adequate for yourself.

The important thing is to get into the mood of shifting and believe that your script is not something you've drafted up, but instead like a diary where you've written things that have already happened to you.
