Kaz made me watch almost all the versions of that show. Perfect.

"Z can come off as a little rude at first. He's not very talkative but he does like when people have backbones so just don't take his shit and he'll like you," Theo looked over at me. "Don't stress about that since I won't let him be a dick to you."

So he's basically the opposite of Theo.

"Callan is nice and laid back. His girlfriend's name is Isha; she's really nice they're similar to each other. Z is bringing someone but I've never met them before."

I nodded, "Anything else?"

Theo tapped his fingers on the steering wheel thinking, "Callan is deaf, he can read lips and I can translate for you if I need to so just don't mumble when you talk to him. Relax and be yourself. They'll love you."

"Got it."

He gave me a look knowing I'm still stressing, "I'm serious you have nothing to worry about."

"I'm relaxed. I'm not nervous at all."

"Good."

"Good."

"Where-" he started.

"Are you sure there's nothing else I should be aware of?"

He chuckled shaking his head at me, "No."

"I just want to be in the loop."

"I think you're all caught up."

I hummed, "How long till we're at the hotel?"

"Less than an hour."

Rolling down my window I looked at Parker, "Do you talk to people about me?"

"All the time."

"Actually?"

"No, I never mention you at all," he sarcastically replied to me.

"I don't mention you to people." I lied casually.

"We're even then."

"Yeah, I guess so."

Nodding my eyes scanned the area just outside my window as we moved. I lightly smiled hearing Parker hum the song playing in the car. Picking up his camera from its original resting place I aimed it at him figuring he would want to remember this trip.

My smile intensified at the photo. I looked at it closer noticing the way his hair seemed like the same color as the sun when the light hit it, or the way his head slightly tilts back as he laughs.

"Why are you smiling like that? Is the picture bad?" Theo asked before putting his gaze back on the road.

"No," I shook my head. "It's perfect."

Turning up the music I went back to my own thoughts. I genuinely like the person I am when I'm with him.

I used to be an angry person, bitter even. I would never show it, sure I could be a little rude or off-putting. It was my way of dealing with things.
