"What!" I crossed my arms as my eyebrows were knitted. "Well, that wasn't my fault, you should have expelled Mia instead of me!"
"I already did, she was at my office twenty minutes ago." she said and I let out a deep breath, looking away from her while tapping my nails on my phone screen.
Oh well, at least that devil got what she deserved.
"Does that mean I can't go to the camping trip?" I asked, irritated as I looked back at her.
"Unfortunately not."
I kept tapping my fingers on the screen phone and my long nails furiously caused a sharp noise.
Looking away from the principle, I mumbled, "Fine, whatever!" I walked my way out of her office as I cussed under my breath.
Alright, chill Evelyn. You just got expelled for seven days. Nothing is bad-nor that good-but we need to stay positive. Seven free days at home is enough to let me have some time alone, thinking about where Mikhail could be.
I opened my locker and grabbed all of my stuff. I noticed Mia at the corner of the hallway glaring at me. I glanced back at her with my middle finger raised.
She rolled her eyes and I found her walking away to the exit.
Emma and Olivia then came to me. They both began to rub my back for comfort, but I flinched.
"I heard that you got expelled–" Olivia muttered with a pout.
"Yeah, didn't we all hear about it?!" I closed the locker with a crash and I walked to the door, finding Emma and Olivia following me.
"Look!" Emma uttered, rushing to me. "We think what Mia did was wrong!"
"You think?" I stopped and turned back to them for a moment. "It is wrong! Especially when it comes from your dearest friend!"
Olivia and Emma nervously glanced at each other. "We know that, Evelyn." Emma responded, slowly rubbing her shoulder, as though she feared someone.
"We won't be talking to her again! Unless she apologizes to you." Olivia stated as she played with her fingers.
"That's so generous of you guys." I sarcastically nodded, faking a smile and I continued walking.
"So we're still on our plan? The movie night?" Olivia yelled from a far.
I opened the door, "Sure!" I waved my hand at her and I exited.
I seriously don't know how am I supposed to have a fun night with them while I'm mentally collapsing.
But hey!
Not my first time.
...
I sighed, getting back home, finding my dad glaring at me as he crossed both arms, waiting for me to enter.
"Hey.." I nervously waved, shutting the door behind me.
"School just called me," he glared at me for five seconds. "I can't believe you got expelled!" he frowned.
"Shit happens, dad." I said as I looked down and scratched the back of my neck, proceeding to climb up the stairs.
"I also saw that fight video!" he uttered.
I froze, looking back at him. "It's not my fault—" I murmured.
"No, no. I think it is, Evelyn!" he yelled as I squeezed my eyes shut, exactly knowing what is about to happen.
Here. We. Go.
