A.N (It turns out that I really dislike writing in first person, so the rest of this fic is going to be third person.)

"Okay class, last thing on today's agenda... hero papers! Many of you had said it was what you wanted as a career." The teacher looked around after that, looking at all of his students. The class was in cheers, excited at the idea of going to a hero school. The teacher continued, "now all of you must be very excited. I bet some of you will make very good he-," he was interrupted by a load boom.

"Hah! You think these packs of extras could be heroes. Bullshit! I'm the only one who can be a hero," Bakugou Katsuki exclaimed. The others around him scowled at him or cowered in fear. Izuku was the latter. It was ingrained in him to be fearful of him, even if he disliked it.

"Now, now. Mr. Bakugou, please try to keep it down." The teacher looked down, shuffling through his papers. He stopped at the last one, a small frown placed on his face. "Mr. Midoriya, it seems you wrote that you wanted to be a hero as well." The class immediately went silent, before erupting in laughter.

Mixed responses came from everyone, but they all had one common meaning, 'that quirkless kid, he'd never make it'. Izuku felt his face heat up as he scowled lightly. The teacher knew exactly what he was doing, Izuku thought. But he knew how to calm the class and the ticking time bomb called Bakugou Katsuki.

"Sir, with all due respect, I have no wish to become a hero. Even if I had a quirk, I'd rather not. Plus, we have plenty of good-hearted people becoming heroes," he finished with a closed eye smile. The class was once again silent. Some were surprised, they knew the green haired since he was a kid, always spouting that he would become a hero. Bakugou was the most confused. Wasn't he supposed to keep trying, no matter how hard he pushed and shoved at him?

'Ringgg'

Izuku was the first to stand, his bag already packed. Just as he was about to leave the still shocked classroom, he called out to the teacher. "Sensei, I will turn in a new plan tomorrow." Then he left.

Not caring if the class finally moved, he walked out of the school. He looked back once at the gate, searching for the time. The clock at the top of the school read, 3:38. "System save time 3:38."

[Time saved]

Izuku decided on a different route home, deciding to head to the library. What he said in the classroom was true, he had no intentions of going to a hero school. He had a quirk, but it was not in his best interest to let others know. Unlike Sir Nighteye, that just saw a glimpse of the future, he can see the farther and travel back to play with it.

He could only imagine what would happen if someone figured out. Would they capture him and use him, experiment on him, or straight kill him? He dreaded the thought of all these options. Yes, informing no one is the way to go.

Before he realized it he was at the library. It size was medium, but he expected that. The larger one is near U.A high. When he walked in he made a bee line to the computers. He would look at the books later, after he searched for jobs he may be interested in.

As he turned on the computer, he felt someone pull a chair beside him. He looked at the person. The first thing he saw was purple. The other boy's hair was more unruly than his. It stood up as if gravity had no effect on it. The other looked at him, feeling the eyes of Izuku. They sat there in silence.

"Ah, sorry. My name is Midoriya Izuku." Izuku was the first to speak. The purple person looked at him apprehensively, before lightly bowing his head at the greeting.

"Shinso Hitoshi," was all he said. Shinso looked back at his computer, so Izuku did the same. The computer home screen was loaded up on the computer. He automatically went to the search bar. 'Quirkless jobs' he typed out. As soon as he saw the results, he cringed. They were all low paying jobs that can barely sustain a living. He let out a sigh.

His sigh grabbed the attention of Shinso. Shinso not so sneakily glanced at his screen. His breath caught in his throat when he saw the word quirkless. He looked at the green haired kid that looked so deep in thought.

"You're quirkless?" Shinso questioned. Izuku was startled at the question.

"Y-yes," he answered hesitantly. Shinso gave him a look he couldn't describe as nothing but calculating.

He spoke again, "You're not going to find much online if you use quirkless. Try something like a quirk-free environment." Izuku nodded speechless. He hadn't thought of that. Not many people would hire a quirkless person, but he has heard of non-quirk jobs to help with discrimination. He quickly typed in a new search. He got many results, some more promising. He looked at Shinso to thank him, but he was now busy himself searching on the computer.

Izuku couldn't help but look at what he was looking up. He was surprised to see him looking up U.A high. A smile reached his face. He only met Shinso for a few minutes, but he seemed like he would make a great hero.

He decided that before they part, he will ask to meet again. He examined his own computer again. All of the places seemed like food industry jobs, such as servers, cooks, and more. He was starting to lose hope again when he saw it. An analytic job. He clicked on the tab. The site was started by an anonymous person, but it looked legit. Even if it was a scam, he wouldn't actually meet them face to face, so he quickly jot down the number. He had found out what he wanted to do.
