Sam shivered with terror,listening intently to the shuffling of feet outside of the cafeteria door. An oven had blocked the way in,and the large metal panel had already been brought down and locked into place,so Sam felt safe. But he knew the feeling wouldn't stay for too long.
The noises in the hallway stopped,and Sam sucked in his breath. A deep,hoarse growl made him flinch and snap his gaze up towards the window in the door. A decaying face glared back at him,teeth snapping as it tried to get it. The oven rattled loudly,turning onto its side but still blocking the door. Sam trembled and attempted to hide underneath a countertop. The walker groaned and grunted as he tried to push himself through the small window. Sam quickly shut his eyes and hoped that the noise and the walker would be gone soon.
