chapter 8

i started getting sleepy after a bit, so i removed the cloth from his head and checked his temperature

it wasn't as high as it was before, but he still seemed sick, since he looked like he was sleeping comfortably i didnt wanna disturb him so i went up from the bed and sat at the couch

i was falling asleep, it was around 3 am now, i cant go home this late either, i added a alarm in my phone for 6 am, and slept on the couch

[just imagine the alarm ringing since its lowkey awkward to write "ring ring"]

i woke up and stopped the alarm, i was still very sleepy and tired since i could barely get any sleep last night, but i had to leave

before leaving, i went to hyunjin's desk and tore out a page from one of his notebooks, and wrote in it

"make sure to go to get a check up
when you wake up, ill get
going since i need to leave.

i kept it beside his pillow, fixed his blanket and left

i quickly hurried to my house, though after i reached i noticed mom wasn't there, she probably had to leave for work again, so i just ran up to my room to change and fresh up, after that i got ready for school, had some breakfast and left for school

while going, i saw seungmin getting inside the school building, so i went up to him

"heyyy"

"oh hi"

i didn't know what else to say, so it just got awkward, aish, i shouldn't have approached him in the first place

"well, which class do you have now?" he asked

"oh, maths"

"ah i see"

"yeah, and you?"

"social"

i nodded, we went in and left for our classes

hyunjin pov

"hyunjin? oppaaaaaa" a voice woke me up

i slowly opened my eyes, it was Sung Hee

"oh.. hey" i said in a low voice and sat up slowly

"are you feeling better now?" she asked with a smile

"yeah"

"i stayed here all night for you!"

"what?! why??"

"to take care of you silly"

but wasn't y/n-- ohh.. she must've left when I told her to

"you didnt have to do that really" i said while smiling a little

"but i had to, you had a alot of head ache"

"head ache?? my stomach is what hurted actually due to eating too many cookies-"

"o-ohh- right!! i- i probably need some sleep ahah-" she laughed nervously

"yes you do" i giggled

"okay then! ill get going" she smiled and left

did she really stay up all night for me here, aish this girl

i got up and left to get a shower

after that, i was already late for school so i took a toast and decided to eat it on my way to school

it was lunch, and now i was used to buy two boxes of cookies, one for seungmin and one for hyunjin, so i gave one to seungmin and looked for hyunjin to give him the another one

soon i found him, again, with that little wench

"here"

i extended my hand to give him the box

"oppa gets stomach aches from these so you should stop bringing them"

"what?"

i asked confused

"he ate alot of those"

".. oh- uh okay then no cookies for you today hyunjin" i said and looked at him

he pouted slightly and didnt say anything, so i walked away from there

i went back to seungmin

"who is he"

"who??"

"the guy you give cookies to everyday?"

"ohh him-"

"yeah"

i didnt say anything

"he seems like he's only using you for the cookies"

pfft

"noo its not that-"

"then what is it?"

"well, i dont know if im allowed to tell you"

"allowed? what do you mean?"
