"Mate I don't know about rings" I said to my best friend Harry
"That's why I'm here" my mum smiled
This is the only time within the past 3 days where my mum hasn't cried since I told her I'd propose to y/n. She's emotional.
We walked into the ring shop and started looking
"Right harv, if you see a ring and it reminds you of y/n tell one of the assistants to get it out and we'll have a look" my mum smiled
I was searching for about 15 minutes, and then I saw it. The ring
"Hey could I have a look at this ring here please" I asked
"Of course, I'll get it out for you" she smiled and walked to the cabinet
"Have you found one?" My mum asked
"I have" I smiled as the cashier brought out the ring
"This one" she smiled

"Oh Harvey" my mum said about to cry
"We'll take it, she's love it" I smiled
We paid for the ring and walked out of the shop, I put the bag in my jd bag so I couldn't be caught by paparazzi and spoil the surprise for y/n.
"How are you going to propose?" Harry asked me
"Well we're going to Mallorca next week, I was thinking of doing it on the beach" I said
"Oh my" mum replied nearly crying
"Mum" I laughed
