"KOCHO-SAN! HOW IS SHE DOING?" A loud voice spoke as Kanae looked up from tending to her patient. The sun peeked through the room window as a man with fiery hair and a broad smile entered the room. Kanae smiled at the familiar face as he sat on an empty chair diagonal from where she stood.
A week has passed from the incident.
"She is in stable condition," Kanae confirmed, assuring the man. "None of the injuries she suffered were infected, but I believe there might be some scarring from her ankle wound."
The flower pillar looked at the unconscious woman's face, staring at the cuts left on her cheeks. "It seems before she encountered that demon you killed, they're a little older than the one on her ankle. Someone else had dug their nails into her face and lightly punctured through her skin."
Kyojuro looked deep in thought. "Do you believe it could be the work of another demon? Maybe the demon she had such proximity with?"
"I don't know...I'll ask her when she wakes up." Kanae frowned. "But Rengoku-san, is your crow okay? I heard from Shinobu he was heavily injured."
Kyojuro brightened. "Ah, Kaname is healing up well! It will take him some time to regain his full strength, so Oyakata-Sama assigned me another crow as a temporary replacement."
Kanae gasped, clapping her hands in delight. "That's wonderful!"
The male laughed. "Thank you! Kaname will surely get better!" He looked at y/n. "I hope the girl recovers as well. Do you know her name?"
The flower pillar nodded. "L/n Y/n."

It posed a few concerns to them.
