Was that really... My Future?!

Task Assigned!

It's a beautiful day at cerise labratory, and professor Cerise is upto something.

"Hey Ash! The Professor called" Goh shouted.

"Ooh what's the matter?" Ash asked.

"I don't know. He said that he wants to show us something" Goh said.

"Well then, let's get going!!!"

"Oh there you two are!" Professor Cerise said.

"Good morning Professor! What did you want to show us?" Ash asked.

"Take a look at this" Professor said as he switched the holo-projector.

"This is the reflection cave, situated in the kalos region. And I am onto something, which could lead to a new discovery" Professor started to explain.

"What! A new discovery!?!" Goh was excited when he heard what professor said.

"What kind of a discovery professor?" Ash asked.

"It is known that the mysterious walls of the reflection cave are somehow connected to parallel universes" Cerise explained.

"Ooh that's right! I still remember the incident at those caves when pikachu was taken away by another me while i was Travelling through kalos." Ash thought to himself.

" I've been researching on these caves and I found out something that's highly probable. Not only do these caves have a connection with parallel universes, they also have a strong connection with time travel!" Professor Cerise said.

"That's phenomenal!!!!" Goh said in pure excitement.

"It's highly probable that my theory is true, but it's only a hypothesis, for now. I doubt that the clear water present deep inside the cave somehow shares a mysterious bond too." Cerise continued.

"Im suspecting that the crystals and minerals at the bottom of the water gives it some special abilities."
"I want you two to collect some samples so i can examine and research on the potential powers that water holds" He said.

"ON IT!" both Ash and Goh said in unison.

"Well if we are going to kalos we have to pack some things that we will need" Ash said to goh.

"Yeah! By the way I'm going to the pokemart to get some pokeballs, since we are going to kalos, i won't miss a single opportunity to catch every kind of pokemon in that cave!" Goh shouted.

"Awesome! Let's go pack our things buddy!" Ash said and pikachu followed him and climbed onto his shoulder.

"See you later ash" Goh said and ash replied with his toothy grin and a thumbs up.

"Soo buddy! Let's pack our stuff" Ash said to his partner

"Pikaaa!" Pikachu agreed.

"You can sit there, i can do this. Here have this"
Ash said as he gave pikachu a tiny bottle of ketchup.

"Pikaachuuuuu!!!" Pikachu squealed in delight.

"Kalos is pretty far away, so i guess we will get hungry, I'll pack some snacks"

" I'll pack some potions and medicines, material to collect the samples"

"Ooh and i guess I'll take my keystone with me too, just in case. I'm sure i put it with my other valuables" Ash thought to himself.

He searched for his keystone and...

"Ooh..."

He picked up a handkerchief and took a good look at it. It was a white handkerchief with blue borders and it had a pokeball printed onto one of it's corner.

It was a bit worn out, but still he kept it. He also found a picture of clemont, bonnie, korrina, him and serena.

He looked at the photo carefully.

"Look how nervous clemont is, and bonnie is so happy" Ash chuckled

He observed how serena was trying to stand a bit closer to him.

" I hope she is doing wonders in hoenn, afterall she was such an amazing pokemon performer...."

" I sure do miss her!" Ash thought to himself.

"Pikaa?" Pikachu gave a confused look at ash who just stood there like a statue.

"Oh! Sorry buddy i guess i kinda got carried away" Ash sweatdropped.

"I'm baack!" Goh shouted out.

"Welcome back goh, are you ready to go?" Ash asked

"I was born ready!" Goh said optimistically

"Ok then, LET'S GO"

"PIKAAA, GROOKEYYYYY"

Everyone was super excited to go to the Kalos region.
