" Kacchan, are you sure? We don't have to do this tonight, we can wait a bit longer." Izuku said, nervousness clear in his tone. The two were getting ready for Katsuki's 'Welcome Back' party that his employees at his agency were throwing for him. It had been just over a week since he'd gotten released from the hospital, and while he felt fine, Izuku wasn't convinced.

Katsuki finished tying his necktie and turned around to face his partner. The blonde gripped Izuku's shoulders gently, looking him in the eyes. " Izuku, baby, light of my life, I am fine. You said it yourself, I'm recovering well. I promise if I start to feel like I need to leave, we'll leave. Okay?" Izuku gave a weak nod and sniffled, only letting a single tear slip. He was just so nervous for Katsuki. What if something else happened? What if the villains that caused his injury in the first place came back to finish the job?

" Okay, okay you're right. I'm probably just overthinking like usual." Izuku chuckled, he looked up and kissed Katsuki gently on the lips. They two lingered in the kiss for a moment, savoring the feeling of each other.

Katsuki was the first to pull away, gently ruffling Izuku's hair as he did. " Come on, we're gonna be late. You ready to go?" Izuku nodded and grabbed his phone and wallet. The couple made their way out the door and to the car.

" Everyone please welcome to the stage, our guest of honor, Ground Zero!" The room erupted in applause as Katsuki stood from his chair and made his way to the podium on the stage at the front of the room.

" Alright, alright quiet down, extras." He cleared his throat, waiting for the room to silence itself. " First of all, I'm here to say a big ol' fuck you to the villains that tried to kill me that night. So, fuck you. Second of all, thank you all for the support. My partner, Izuku, and I very much appreciate it. And lastly, I wanted to say thank you. I know I don't express this much but I am truly grateful for all of you. But most of all, my Izuku. He saved me that night and he's saved me many other times. Izuku, baby, I love you." Katsuki locked eyes with Izuku from the stage. A thin layer of gloss over both sets of eyes.

Izuku chuckled and wiped his eyes, mouthing a silent ' I love you too'. Katsuki exited the stage with a nod to the crowd and made his way back to his seat. " You sap," Izuku teased, giving the blonde's thigh a gentle squeeze. Katsuki scoffed and rolled his eyes, kissing Izuku gently on the lips. "Only for you."

After the party, the couple made their way home, stopping on the way to grab a few things from the store. " Kacchan!" Izuku called, taking the items from the cloth bag.

" Hm?" The blonde asked, snaking his arms around Izuku's waist from behind. Katsuki kissed the green curls upon Izuku's head, resting his chin on his shoulder soon after. The action made Izuku giggle, he loved the feeling of his partner's arms around him.

" Someone's touch starved," Izuku laughed, pressing a kiss to Katsuki's cheek. " Anyway, where'd you put the other bag? It has the eggs in it and I need to put them away." Katsuki nodded and walked to go grab the bag, leaving the other in the kitchen, still unpacking.

" Here ya go, I'll help so we can cuddle because I miss you. Let's have a movie night tonight, we haven't had one of those in a while." Katsuki said, opening the refrigerator to put away the milk.

Izuku smiled at that, he'd been missing his Kacchan lately. Sure they'd been home again for a while but they hadn't truly spent time together. Between Katsuki working from home and Izuku job hunting, rest and relaxation weren't things they had much time for.

" That sounds lovely, babe. Can we take a bath too?" Izuku asked, excited at the idea of a night in with his partner.

" Of course we can, let's finish this up and we'll get to it. I believe it's my turn to pick the movie tonight." Both Izuku and Katsuki knew what that meant. Typically, if Izuku picked the movie, he'd choose something soft and sappy. More often than not, Katsuki would end up having to comfort him while he sobbed about the couple ending up together and getting a cute dog. Izuku was a sucker for those endings.

If Katsuki chose the movie, that almost always meant he'd choose something scary and exciting. Izuku wasn't a big fan of those types of movies but he suffered through them for his partner. However, it was always nice to have an excuse to need to be coddled. All he had to do was jump a little at a jump scare or give a small fearful whimper and Katsuki would envelop him into his arms and comfort him until the end of the movie.

" Fine, you can choose the movie but I get to choose the snacks." The two finished putting away the last of the groceries and went into their bedroom to get everything prepared for their bath and movie night.

Izuku grabbed the towels, pajamas, and candles while Katsuki prepared the bath. They both met in the bathroom, Izuku lighting the candles and placing them around the tub. " Are you excited, baby? Feels like we haven't done this in forever." Katsuki asked, rubbing Izuku's back.

" Yes, I'm very excited." He smiled, looking up at his partner. They smiled and shared a kiss, both just happy to be there in the presence of each other.

...

" Do you want me to wash your hair, baby?" Katsuki asked, already grabbing for the shampoo. Izuku simply nodded and melted into Katsuki's chest. The blonde laughed at the action, finding Izuku's antics adorable.

" You're so cute. So cuddly, like a little puppy." Katsuki wet Izuku's hair and began to wash it for him, making sure to massage the other's scalp as he did so. That always made the green-haired man relax.

Katsuki kissed all over Izuku's face, making them both giggle. " Kachaaan!" Izuku laughed, dramatically dragging out the 'a'. " What? Do you not like my kisses? I can stop if you'd prefer." Katsuki teased, stopping all movements. Izuku turned around to face his partner.

" Nooo, kiss me, kiss me!" He whined, leaning in to kiss the blonde. The couple kissed yet again, Izuku's hair still full of suds. " Ok ok, let me finish washing your hair, love." Katsuki grabbed his freckled shoulders and turned Izuku back around so he could wash out his hair.

The couple finished up in the bath and made their way to the living room to start their movie night. " You set up the movie, I'll get the snacks," Izuku said, already walking to the kitchen. Katsuki sat down on the couch and grabbed the remote, scrolling through movie after movie. He was stuck between action or thriller but eventually landed on thriller and set it up on the T.V., waiting for his partner to return.

Soon after, Izuku came walking into the room, setting the snacks on the table and taking his spot next to Katsuki. " This one? Again?" Izuku asked, getting settled into Katsuki's side.

" Yes, this one again. I like it. I also like when you get scared and cuddle into me so this is the one we're watching." Katsuki smiled and kissed Izuku's forehead, pressing play on the screen.

It wasn't long before the couple fell asleep on each other. Izuku still cuddled close in Katsuki's side, Katsuki's hand tangled in green curls. He'd been playing with his hair, this being a large factor in how quickly Izuku had fallen asleep. The movie was still playing long forgotten in the background as they slept peacefully against each other. Finally, for the first time since Katsuki's injury, Izuku felt at peace and safe, even while sleeping.
