"Bye Miss Raine" Erik called as he Walked away with his mom, I waved then pulled out phone and shook my head Slightly 23 Missed calls 16 Voice mails, I sighed and Dialed Embry's number with in two rings it picks up
"Everyone is worried about you"He said soon as he picked up the phone
"Let them worry" I said not noticing the bitter edge to my voice, I walked outside and signaled for a taxi
"I'm not sure who's more worried Jacob or Sam" He said which surprised me. Sam was worried about me? Hes only ever worried about Emily
"832 Willow drive" I said getting into the Taxi and making sure the phone was away from my mouth so Embry couldn't hear "Sam is worried about me?"I asked then looked at the setting sun
"Yeah, Jacob told h'm not even in wolf form. He went to Sam's in a panic and showed h'm the Letter they both phased back and forth for like three hours. The only one that doesn't know yet Is Quil"He said slightly quietly, Shit Quil doesn't know there will be more phone calls for me soon.
"You cant tell anyone though.." I said feeling guilt rush through me, I sighed as the houses came into view
" I wont, But we all want you back.." He whispered " I miss you"
"I'm Sorry but i am home " I said then handed the driver a 20$ " Listen I got to go. Call you Tomorrow" I said climbing out of the Cab with my backpack over my shoulder
"Bye" He sighed sadly
"Bye" I said walking up to the house
"Love y-" I heard h'm say as I pressed end call. I knocked on the door
" I will get it" A Familiar male voice called then the door opened "Raine?"
"Hey Dad." I said with a weak smile "Sorry to Drop by with out any notice" I said quietly looking at my feet
"That's fine, Is everything Okay?" He asked taking my back pack leading me inside
"Yeah.. Just wanted to come home" I said it felt weird and wrong calling this place home. "If its okay I would like to stay here"
"Of course sweetheart" he smiled "Amanda Raine is here" He shouted seconds later there was the sound of heels going down the stairs
"Raine " My mom said hugging me tightly as her Blonde with some grey tint to it fell over her shoulders then looked me up and down "you've grown so much since we last seen you 3 weeks ago" She said then her eyes stopped on My upper arm her eyes filled with fear and surprise
"Wheres that Jacob fellow, he looked like he would never let you leave" My dad pointed out, Again I just shoved the tears to the back of my head
"I left him. Without a good bye" I said quietly "Can I talk to you guys? Its really Important" I Said sitting down on a white leather sofa, they nodded but my mom kept her eyes on the mark on my upper arm that marked that I was in Sam's pack
"Raine Judy Dior You got a tattoo?" My dad said angrily after following my mom's Gaze
"Do you guys know anything about Werewolves?"I asked Watching my mom and dad stare at each other
"Well."My dad sighed, Story time "When your mom was 15 she Phased, when I was 17 I Phased, I'm guessing the reason your asking this is because You phased" He said, I nodded slowly
"Its story time huh"I asked feeling a smile tug at the corners of my mouth
"Yep" He said smiling "I met your mom shortly after I phased, Then something happened, I fell in love with her but it was stronger shes the only thing that ever mattered to me she was what was holding me to the earth" He began before i interrupted h'm
"You Imprinted on her" I said nodding. they looked at me in surprise
"You know about Imprinting?"
"Yeah.. I. Imprinted on Jacob"I Muttered softly holding back tears
"Anyway" My dad said with a little sadden look on his face. Maybe its because his 16 year old Daughter met her soul mate? "Me and your Mom Ran our own pack, We both have Alpha in our blood. We ran the Pack for Ten years then we decided to give up our shape shifting to Raise a family. But it took us Five years to be able to have you" He said Quietly
"Since you guys have Alpha blood in you, Does that mean i do to?" I asked curiously
"Yes why?"
"Everyone haves been saying I'm almost big as the alpha, and I'm a little bigger than the beta. But only in wolf form, also they been saying I'm the fastest and probably the strongest, and I'm really sensitive to the smell of leeches" I said standing up
"Maybe the alpha blood is really strong in you"
"Raine hunny you should get some rest" My mom said
"Yeah.. I guess" I said nodding as she took me by the arm and lead me to a multi colored room which hurt my eyes
"Me and your dad are going out. will you be Okay alone?" My mom asked Quietly
"Yeah mom I will be fine. go have fun" I said with a Weak smile then sighed when she walked out. I looked at my phone most of the missed calls were from Jacob Shocker, I couldn't bring myself to listen to the voice mails
I laid on the soft bed listening to the rain hit the window, I shut my eyes and held tight to the t-shirt that was in my hands, The only thing of his I had.. I slowly Drifted off to sleep
"Jacob put me down!" I laughed beating his back with my hands "Nah" He said grinning walking over to the edge of the cliff "Jacob. don't you dare!"I said laughing even harder "Do what?" He asked innocently "Quilll heellpp" I said pounding on Jacobs back even harder "Fine I will put you down" He said then turned me bridal style " Better Hold your breath" He said grinning ear to ear "Jacob do-" Is all i was able to say before he dropped me So I quickly held my breath before hitting the water, I sank lower and lower into the water, I tried to swim up but something kept pulling me down, water quickly filled my lungs as I sank deeper in the black water
I shot up gasping for air, I looked at the clock 3 48 am.. "What the hell am i doing here?" I said wiping the sweat off my face and quickly climbed out of bed "This is not where I belong. this is not home" I said Quickly grabbing my stuff shoving it back into my backpack "Home is in La push.. La push is were I belong... I belong with Jacob" I whispered putting on a too big t-shirt that I'm guessing was Jacob's and holey sweat pants, I slung my backpack over my shoulder and ran over to the window opening it quietly getting soaked right away. I slung my feet over the edge and took a breath
"Home.. Here I come" I whispered, I shut my eyes and Jumped and ran barefoot in the pouring rain at three am towards the airport..
