Chapter 9

I went to the kitchen and grabbed some arepas and empanada, while i saw camilo grab some tea

"For mami?" I asked, "Yep, that too?" Camilo asked, "yup, you done? Let's go together" I said

We went to mami's room she was sitting stressed in a chair, "mami, relax" I said and we went near to mami

"It's okay, mami. Deep breathe in, deep breath out-" Camilo whispered calmly before something slammed in the wall behind mami

Which made her jump and lightning zapped camilo's face, and he shape shifted from papi, to abuela, to tio agustin, then back to himself

I laughed at him and handed him an arepa, he gladly ate it and went back to normal

'That's probably mirabel chasing tio, that happened to me too'

"Mami, relax. Everything will be alright" I calmly said to her, handing her a plate of hot new arepas

"How will everything be fine?" Mami shouted grabbing an arepa and ate it, "I have a good feeling mami" I said smiling at her

"Mami, you know she's always right" Camilo said, Mami calmed down a bit. After a few minutes mami fully calmed down

Camilo and i lead mami onto her bed and she layed down relaxed, i put the blanket above her

"Goodnight mami, sweet dreams" Me and camilo said, i kissed mami's forehead and camilo and i went out of mami's room

Camilo said goodnight and went to his room while i went to the kitchen grabbed some food and water then went tio bruno's room, as i was about to open the door i listened to their conversation first

"Plus, free entertainment. So what do you like? You like sports?Game shows? Telenovelas?" Tio said, i opened the door "I like telenovelas" I said and walked to them

"Hola y/n, Their love could never be" Tio said, he looked at me as i put the food and water in his table

I looked at mirabel she looked shocked "Me and tio met, just a few years ago when dolores mentioned tio in the walls" I said

She nodded, and they continued their conversation while i just listened. When mirabel and i left tio's room, mirabel went back trying to convince tio to do another vision

"Yeah" Mirabel said as she thought of something, she kicked the door open

"You wish you could have seen more, so see more!" Mirabel shouted, i nodded as i entered too

"Have another vision" Mirabel said as she kept walking to tio, while tio backed away

"No,no. See i don't do visions anymore" Tio said still trying to make mirabel not to get too close

"You can't say the weight of the world is in your shoulders. The end" Mirabel said and pulled away the broom from tio

"If our fate's up to me, me says have another vision" Mirabel said, while i just looked at the rats using tio's brush and cup

"Maybe it'll show me what to do" Mirabel said while he looked at tio at the floor

Tio stood up "look, even if i wanted to, which i don't, you wrecked my vision cave. Which is a problem 'cause i need a big open space" Tio said

"We'll find one"

"Where?" I sense someone, i looked at the door

"Use my room" Antonio said with his friends, i guess the rats told him

"The rats told me everything" Antonio said, i knew it

"Don't eat those" He scolded the jaguar about to eat the rats, "our family needs help, and you need to get outta here" Mirabel said

Tio looked at the rats who used his brush and cup, "eh" Tio said agreeing, we went to antonio's room

"We might wanna hurry" Mirabel said as she sat at the floor "you can't hurry the future" Tio said while he poured the sand

"What if i show you something worse?" Tio said as he sat down "if i see something that you don't like, you're gonna be all 'bruno make bad things happen. Oh, he's creepy and his vision killed my goldfish" Tio said, as i chuckled at his last 2 sentences

"I don't think you make bad things happen. Sometimes family weirdos just get a bad rap" Mirabel said, antonio handed the stuff toys me and mirabel made to tio

Tio held it and looked at antonio "For the nerves" Antonio said as he left being carried by the jaguar, i waved at them and went with antonio to not ruin the vision

Tio started doing things and then they are now surrounded with a sand in a circle(?) Me and antonio were in a safe distance so the sand didn't reach us

While they were doing that me and antonio played with his friends, after awhile the sand dropped I'm guessing the vision is done

I floated to them while antonio stayed where he is, "Oh you're sister? That's great!" Tio said happily as he showed the vision, it was isabela and mirabel hugging

Mirabel groaned with fire in her eyes, tio looked so done "Everytime" He said and threw the vision

We went outside near the painting and looked at isabela's door "Why would embracing isabela do anything?" Mirabel asked

"I don't know. Our family got a miracle. How do you help a family miracle? You hug a sister" Tio said

"Mirabel?Mira-MiRaBel?" Camilo called walking downstairs, i laughed quietly when he shape shifted

"Well, i think we're running out of time here" Tio said and looked back at us "it's not gonna work. She wont hug me ever, okay? She hates me!" Mirabel exclaimed

Then she started ranting about her sister while tio tried to get her attention, at some point me and tio was annoyed and shouted at mirabel

"Mirabel!" Me and tio shouted, mirabel looked surprise and looked at us "Sorry, sorry, sorry" Tio apologized

'Yeah no, I'm not apologizing. I'm tired'

"You see, you're missing the point. The fate of the family, it's not up to her it's up to you " Tio said looking at mirabel

'I swear I'm the forgotten child, eh atleast i have peace'

"You're exactly what this family needs. You just have to see it" Tio said while mirabel started thinking

"With y/n, after i leave" Tio said and hib behind the plant and started wiggling over to the paint

"What, you're not coming?" Mirabel asked, at this point I'm not even surprised

"It was your vision, mirabel. Not mine" Tio said "you're afraid abuela will see you" Mirabel said smirking

"Yep. I mean, yes, that too" Tio said "Hey after you save the miracle, come visit" Tio said

"After i save the miracle, me and y/n will bring you home" Mirabel said smiling, tio smiled too but then knocked every where

"Knock, knock, knock, knock, knock. Knock on wood." Tio said and went inside

Me and mirabel looked at the candle, i looked at her "You ready?" I asked, she sighed and nodded

I intertwined our arms "You got this. Just gonna save the miracle" Mirabel whispered to herself "With a hug" Mirabel whispered sarcastically and and eye roll, while i just laughed at her. Then we went to isabela's room
