I'm gonna have to make a whole other book just for catching out bad Wattpad samaritans...
So I wandered on over to this Wattpader's profile, right, because my friend advised me to go follow them, and I saw their adopt book and I thought "Cool! I love adopts!"
So I looked through them, and I started to notice inconsistencies with the style of the basefilling and presenting of the adopts, which I thought was strange.
So, just to be safe, I decided to backward image search a few of them, not expecting to find anything, but...

...It turns out that this adopt in particular was actually stolen from someone else.
Seeing as the adopt was owned by someone who was most likely unaware that is was downloaded off the internet and belonged to someone else, I decided to confront both the adopter and the author.

I checked some of the other adopts- not all of them, that would take too long- and they've taken them from all over the place. Quiz sites, like you saw with Aqua...

So, a reminder to everyone out there who writes adopt books/adopts from adopt books:
>Don't steal adopts/art/characters and give them away as your own.
>Check that what you're adopting IS in fact the work of the author, or that the author has permission from the original creator to give it away.
If you are unsure, press the right click on your mouse, and then click "Search Google for image". You might have to look closely or go on to the next few pages, but even if you don't find anything there's always still the chance they got it from somewhere incredibly obscure.
