flash back(one day ago) Thursday

I was released to go home at mid night, I had to cancel tutoring with Lucas , dad took me home and made me his special dish , it was chill soup with chicken wings covered in bbq sauce

" How are you feeling?" Dad asked me as I ate the chicken wings

" Abit better dad, but I bet by tomorrow I will be better "I say with my mouth full, dad laughs at my silliness

" Good , Devi will pay"

" Are you going to talk to her?" I ask her

" I have to , she can't let this happen just because she's busy " I node in agreement

"Oky"

" Now hurry and get to bed , you need rest and you have school, though I still think you should not go" he protest again

" I know dad but if keep cutting class it will be on my permanent record and I might not get into NYU " I resort

" Wait , hi many times have you skipped class" I keep quiet as my eyes widen " Luna!" He yells

" Oky this was the second time ,the first time you weren't home and I just slept through the pain " I answer as fast as I could

" She's going to pay" is all she's says before he pushed into my bedroom

I decided to text Lucas since I cancelled tutoring session and since we don't have school tomorrow due to some gas leak from the chemistry lab

Luna : hey since tomorrow we don't have school , we can meet up and finish

Asshole : whatever

Luna : as sorry i was busy today but I will make it up to you, you won't fail

Ass hole : oky

Luna : goodnight

And with that I head for the bathroom and do my routine and went to bed

Dad woke me up and we made breakfast together., Dad was every where , and he did look nice on that cover and he made good money from it

We ate breakfast and he left for work while I left to tutor the ass hole

I walk till I reach the meeting place , this cafe has a different vibe to it that makes me forget my problems for just a short while

I sit and wait for him to arrive " can I get you something?" The waiter asks

"Um I will just have regular coffee thank you , um make it extra strong please" I order, he scribbels my offer down and heads back

" Finally , at some point I thought you were going to let me fail , the test is next week Luna!" Lucas enters with a stress expression

" I know Lucas , and am sorry , am here now , now can we start?"

" Wait am hungry" he calls the same waiter over " can I have 2 lemon slices and one cappuccino with extra whipped cream please?" He orders "thank you"

"Oky___"

"What happened to your face?" He asks randomly

" What do you mean?" I decided to play dumb

" Your face is bruised and one eye is black , you have a big bump on your forehead which is pink and your lip is busted open " great he can see

" I fell"

" Anha you fell , what rock make your eye perfectly black?"

" Stop it Lucas , it's about you and not me so let's pay attention to that oky " lucky he lets it go but I couldn't help but mumble " it's not like you care anyway"

"What's that?" He asks with his mouth full , I nod  indicating nothing , he goes back to eating and we start with studying

I couldn't help but stare at him, and not in a loving way more like a curious way , how can someone like him have a girlfriend like Isabel , the last I checked he didn't has a significant other and now he does

Could it be that he was also in plan with her to beat me , but he didn't know about it , he even asked what happened which proves he wasn't in on there plan , but I can't trust him , he called me rude things he can hurt me with all the hatred he has for me
