Chapter Two

Neither am I a popular girl nor some kind of a loner. But because I always have to work after school, I wasn't able to make a lot of friends. "Eowyn.." I turn my head and see Alexa and Sam walk to my locker.

"Hey guys." I greet them and we all walk together to our first class.

Alexandra and Samuel are my closest friends. We have known each other since the 7th grade and now they are in a relationship, cute huh?

"Have you finished Mr. Black's homework?" Sam asks me. I knew where this was heading so I brought out my notebook.

"Here, but make it quick. We only have 10 minutes before the teacher comes."

Alexa takes my notebook and kissed my cheek "Thanks girl"

Sighing, I shake my head when I see them run and sat together to copy it.

It was already 10:30pm when we arrived in Florida.

"Finally" I sigh and see that there are already two cars and 5 boys waiting for us. One of them is Stephen.

Stephen walks closer and opens the car door for me "Welcome Boss" He greet me.

I nod my head "I'm glad you gave us a good news Stephen. Anyway, how's your girl? You should be with her right now."

"She's good. Thanks Boss. I'll be with her soon." He said smiling "I just want to make sure that you won't need me Boss"

I shook my head "No.. No.. You go now. I won't be doing anything tonight. I need to evaluate the situation first while I take a look around this city. I'll call you. But for now, you go and be with your girl."

"Thanks Boss" He nods and left.

I turn my head and see Benji standing a few feet away "Call the south boys and tell them to meet me tomorrow at 2pm. We need to prepare."

"Yes, I'll tell them" He nods and walks away to make the call.

I look at the driver "Give me the keys. I want to drive myself"

"But..." He tried to argue but quickly stopped when he saw my expression

I raise my hand. He knows not to mess with me so he hands over the keys.

"You driving?" Benji asked as he walks to the car.

I didn't answer and just turned on the car. It's good to drive after a couple of hours just sitting in the plane. Before I drive, Benji hops in to the car while the others follow behind us with another car.

While I'm driving, I see the traitor's face in my mind. I clench my hands on the stirring wheel and I know that revenge is as sweet as sugar, especially when you know that day is coming soon. I can't wait to see that day; his dead body on floor.

Driving has always been able to calm me. Benji knows that I really want to finish John, right here, right now. But we need to prepare before the war. We still don't know how he was able to betray me, us, the whole Genosees Family. I hope that there is no one else helping him. I hope that no other gangs or families have decided to help him with whatever he plans to do or in hiding him. That will make things only more complicated. I know that there are lots of people/gang/other mafia families who wants to take what's mine and be the leader. The Genosees mafia is known as the strongest and biggest family.

"Are you hungry? You haven't eaten anything yet Aiden." I hear Benji ask and I just nodded in response. We look around and realize that everything is already closed. When we turn around, I saw that there was a diner that was still open so we park our cars near it.

I let Benji and 2 other guys check the diner before I join them. It's one of the rules for my safety. I am the leader and my parents don't have other children. Therefore, I am the only heir. I saw Benji talk to a man I assume that the man is the manager. Benji hands him a stack of money.

When I see him wave, I start walking towards the diner but I'm using a hat to hid my face on the way.

Inside, I notice that the diner's already closed. I smile because Benji must have persuaded the man to re-open it for us and give us food. I look around and see the manager talking to a girl, I guess it's the waitress. Poor her, I'll just give her a big tip for staying to work overtime, I said to myself.

I hear a tap and notice she's walking to our direction. I hid my face with my hat when I realize that she's coming towards us.

"Hey.. You guys know that we're already closed and the cook has already left." I heard an angelic voice explain. By her voice I can assume she's beautiful and I smile. "I hope you don't mind me cooking." She finishes.

"We're sorry" I hear Benji answer her "We're from out of town and starved. As we were driving and realized we haven't eaten yet, everywhere else is closed except here. We don't mind, anything you cook will be fine."

"Well then, I'll go and prepare your food." She says and I hear her walking away to the kitchen.

I hear Benji chuckle along with the others

"What is it?"

"She's beautiful Boss" He said and the others agree with him and laugh.

I laugh with them and shake my head. I guess I should give them some time to get laid while we're here, I thought to myself while walking towards the restroom

I hear them talking to each other and my mind goes back, thinking about the traitor again. I shouldn't have let him get away. I should have finished him.

I didn't realize anything suspicious while walking back from the restroom. My mind kept thinking about the ways to kill him, my enemy.

When I started to get closer to Benji's direction, I saw Benji take his gun out and the others yelling at me...

What the...

But it was too late.
