The Zephyr landed and everyone got off the plane and they all migrated into their zones and hung out. Aaron stood with Phil, David, and Melinda and they were conversing about the mission and anything. "Someone from SHIELD is gonna come by and take the document to a safe facility, where they'll be able to tell us about what it means and they'll take from there." Phil explains to them. Melinda looked at him confused, "Why go through all that trouble for just a document?" David shrugged and gave his guess, "It could be really important for the person who wants it." Phil shook his head before looking at the three adults with curiosity, "We won't know until we get the results. Hey, how was the case in Alabama?" David began to compliment the two then said something that caught Melinda's attention, "May and Simmons did very well, even if it was just their first case. May, however, had an admirer." Melinda looked at him confused as she didn't know about that. David noticed her expression and began to explain, "Sheriff Brian. He couldn't stop glancing at you as soon as you walked into a room." Her eyes widened slightly at that before glancing at Aaron. He was quieter today, now that the mission was over than normal. Melinda placed a hand on his arm, making him look at her. "You alright?" Melinda asks and he nodded, "Yeah, I'm fine." She didn't believe him but went along with it and he knew that by the way she slowly turned back towards the two other men. To be honest, he was nervous about the date tomorrow and didn't know what to do. Melinda grabbed his hand and held it, which he gripped, making her more concerned for the man she's grown to care for. "I'm gonna go talk to Simmons. I'll be back." Melinda tells them. Aaron smiled before frowning when her hand left his. Melinda walked over to Jemma and Spencer, as Phil and David looked at Aaron. "Anything we should know about?" David asks and Aaron looked at the two before sighing as Phil knew most of what was going on, but David only knew his feelings towards her. He finally told him about what happened over the pass few days. "Melinda and I kissed. Twice. Also, we're going on a date tomorrow." Aaron blurts out and Phil smiled and cross his arms, as David nodded and let out an Italian cheer. Aaron smiled at them before going back to nervous. "I'm confused about what to do on this date. She's never said anything she liked." Aaron tells them frustrated and Phil helped encourage him, "Don't worry about it. Melinda is a simple woman, I'm sure if you guys just walked around a neighborhood, she'd enjoy it!" Aaron nodded in understanding, "Thanks." Phil nodded meaning 'Don't worry about it' as Melinda walked back over. She was carrying a new ICER but it had red lines on the sides. "Wow! Nice!" Phil compliments and she smiled lightly as she admired the gun, "This was what Fitzsimmons wanted to show me. They wanted my take on it before giving it to me." Aaron seemed interested in it and wanted to look at it, "Can I see it?" Melinda nodded and handed it to him and he took it and examined it. He started to weigh it as it was lighter to the original ICERS. "It's way lighter than normal guns." Aaron tells her handing her the gun back. She looked at them all, "I wish I had Reid's eidetic memory so I could remember what Fitz told me, but I don't." David sighed internally at her before telling her, "You don't need it, trust me." She smiled at him as a thank you looked at Aaron when he tapped on her hand, "Can I talk to you?" She nodded and they walked away from everyone and Phil and David joined the others not wanting to be too suspicious. Aaron and Melinda go to the wall across from where they were at and stand there. "What's up?" Melinda asks and he looked at her, "I just wanted to let you know what you need to do for our date." Melinda nodded and made a gesture like she was ready for him to tell her, "Alright. Throw it at me." He explained it and looked at her waiting for her response, "We're gonna go to dinner and then just walk around after. You like that idea?" She nodded and then groaned, "I like it. Will I have to dress up?" Aaron breathed in and sighed, nodding his head and she nodded and looked down for a second. She looked back up at him with uncertainty, "Do you think it's ok if the girls know and help me?" Aaron looked at her confused on why she had to ask but realized that it is probably not a common thing for her. Going on dates every so often wasn't of her scene. "I don't mind. I think we should tell them that we're going on a date, so we don't have to hide." Aaron tells her and she nodded, "Ok. That sounds like a plan." They then jumped when they heard a familiar little boy call to them, "Daddy! Ms. May!" The two looked over and saw Jack running over and he hugged Aaron's waist and then did the same to Melinda. She tensed slightly, still not used to being hugged at all, but endured it for him. She ran her fingers through his hair and pat his head as Aaron watched with adoration. "Where have you been?" Aaron asks his son and Jack smiled up at them, "Same as last time!" Jack then yawned making Aaron look at his watch, "I think it's bedtime. You ready?" Jack looked at Melinda and grabbed her hand, "I want Ms. May to take me!" Jack looked at Melinda with puppy dog eyes and she looked at Aaron shocked that he was asking her but wanted his consent, which he noticed. He wanted to make sure it was ok to her to do it. "Is it ok?" Aaron asks and she shrugged, "I'm ok with it if you are." He smiled at her knowing that she didn't want to cross any boundaries towards him and Jack, "It's fine with me." Aaron kissed Jack on the cheek before he let him go with Melinda. Jack turned to look at his dad, waving, "Goodnight!" His father called back, "Goodnight." Melinda and Jack walked out of his view when he made his way towards everyone else. Daisy, being nosy, looked at Aaron with curiosity, "What were you two talking about?" Daisy was leaning against a table with her head rested on her palms, waiting for his response. Aaron knew he was going to never get to keep anything to himself around here, with how many people are on this team now. Everyone looked at him curiously as to what he'll say about what they were talking about. "Ok. Melinda and I are going on a date." Aaron informed them. Multiple reactions were spread around the room as Penelope and JJ gasped, Daisy covered her mouths with one hand, Jemma had her hands on her cheeks and smiled, Emily had her jaw dropped to the floor along with Derek and Spencer, and David and Phil were smirking. Aaron couldn't help but blush at the reactions that spread around the room. "When are you going?" Daisy asks and he replied simply, "Tomorrow at 7 pm." Emily looked at him curiously, "Where are you taking her?" Aaron told them with a shrug, "I'm taking her to dinner and then we'll walk around. She agreed to the idea." Penelope smiled as she was happy her boss was going to be happy again. "Oh my gosh! This is so cute! She does know we are going to get her ready, right?" Penelope asks and Aaron laughed at the irony, "Funny enough, she was going to ask you, girls, to help." Derek realized Melinda wasn't in the room and looked back at him, "Where is May?" Aaron replied like it was nothing, "She went to take Jack to bed." Most of the girls were awing at the gesture as they thought it was so cute that Melinda was doing so much for Jack. Phil smiled at the way Melinda was becoming more of a mother for Jack as the days go by. "She is so good with him." Emily coos and Aaron had to agree. She was so caring to Jack even if she just met him a couple months ago. He had a voice in his head to go check on his son with the woman not out of seriousness but just to be there. "I will be back!" Aaron tells them, leaving the room as the girls were planning how to dress up Melinda for her date.
