I kept glancing over at my phone waiting for HoYeon to text back.
She was very busy with her modeling, I was surprised when she had to go on NEW YEAR'S EVE

5 minutes past, nothing. It was 11:57 so there was no point of waiting.
I looked at the screen; 2:43 minutes until the new year.
I had tequila in my hands waiting for the countdown to end.
Until,
I heard a vibrate from my phone.
I picked it up and saw it was from HoYeon:

H: Sorry, I'm not gonna be able to make it..

Y; Oh, it's okay I guess

I  kept looking at the message, what a great time to start the new year.
11:59, I gave up and was counting down with the people on the screen.
Ofc, the TV was loud so I didn't hear anything at the moment except the countdown.

I drank the tequila that was in my hand until I felt a pair on hands grip my waist.
I looked back in shock and saw HoYeon standing there smiling.
"WAIT WHAT-" before I finished my sentence she gave me a passionate kiss.
And of course I kissed back, she stared at me and I stared back.
"I thought you weren't coming?"
"You know, it's fun to trick people" she said with a smile
I rolled my eyes and gave her another long and sweet kiss.
