"Umm Ok. Aap puch len unse."
(...You ask him.)

"Main kiu puchun? Khudi text karke boldo you need to submit an essay, urgently."
Raima nodded and opened whatsapp.
(Why do I ask? You text him yourself and tell...)
"Listen." Hassan opened his phone at the notification and it was from Raima. He looked towards her and she averted her eyes. It was embarrassing. He is sitting in front of her and she is texting him.
"Yes.?"
"I have an essay to be submitted by 12. I forgot about it. Can you give me your laptop?" Hassan smiled at the text, gaining suspicious looks from his brother, Ahil.

Hassan stood up and went towards his room. He came back a few seconds later with a laptop in his hands and sat beside Raima, keeping a distance. He unlocked it and opened whatever she needed and gave it to her.

"Waise Assignment time pr krleni chahye, you know last minute par ni rakhty." Hassan commented, seeing her opening the website.
(Well one should complete assignment on time. You know you shouldn't leave it for last minute.)

"Maine koi last minute pr ni rkhi thi. Main bhul gayi thi."
(I didn't leave it for last minute, I forgot about it.)

"Kaafi kharab yaddasht hai phr to apki." He passed a comment again.
(You have a very bad memory then.)

"Dekhen, mjhy tang mat kren. Aaap ne kabhi aesa ni kia kia?" She turned her face towards him and glared at him
(See, don't tease me. You never did this?)

"No, I was a topper."
"Acha phir ye assignment me help krden please."
(Okay then help me in this assignment please.)

Raima quickly changed her tone and requested him. Hassan regretted boasting about his grades but nevertheless took the laptop to have a look at the work.

After a good 15 minutes, Raima scowled.
"Apko degree kisne dedi? 3rd year ke questions to ho ni rahay apse. Ap hi ki degree hai meri bhi."
Raima made a face.
(Who gave you degree? You can't even do questions for third year. I have the same field as you.)

"Sabar ka phal meetha hota hai, sabar nahi hai aap me?" He replied, not looking at her. He was typing something.
(The fruit of patience is sweet, don't you have patience?)

"Apke sabar ke chakkar me deadline guzar jayegi meri. Wapis krden, Main khud hi krlongi." Hassan stopped typing, and gave her the laptop.
(I'll miss my deadline in the matter of your patience. Give me back. I'll do it myself)

"Ye len, karlen khud."
(Have this. Do it yourself.)
He placed it on her lap and started using his mobile.
Raima tried solving but only after 10 minutes, she couldn't do it. It was maths and she was supposed to know how to solve it to complete the assignment. She glanced at him, who was appearing very busy on his phone. He bit the inside of his cheek to stop a smile. She looked around the room to see if anyone else could help. Not understanding anything, she turned towards him.
"Acha aap hi krden, Ghalt answers na bhejne se to behtar hi hongy."
(Ok you do it. Wrong answers are better than sending nothing.) She reasoned and he took the laptop, not before making a face.
"Main jaun?"
(Can I go?)

"Kahan?"
(Where?) Hassan raised his eyebrows.

"Wahan."
(There)
She pointed towards the girls.

"Hargiz nahi, yaheen bethen. Main apka assignment krrha hun, kam az kam company to de den."
(Never., sit here. I am doing your assignment, Atleast give me some company.)
"Hmm. Ok." After a good 45 minutes, they were able to complete it with the help of youtube videos and online pdfs of the answers.

"Main kuch soch rahi thi." Shazia started the conversation with her husband.
( I was thinking of something.)
"Hmm."

"Hoor kesi lagi apko?"
(What do you think of Hoor?)
