A Choice

Hey Columbia.

My phone rang, it was my alarm to wake up, I stretched out my hand to hit the snooze button, when I hit another hand. A pair of lips met mine, I kissed the stranger back, because I knew it was Chuck. Too bad I couldn't have another day inside with Chuck, I have to get to class. A pair of hands cupped my face and kissed me between my eyes, I opened them and he said "You know I would love to spend the day with you, but I have work and you have class." grabbing my hand and pulled me out of bed. I kissed him once more, then kicked him out of my room so I could get dressed. I dressed out of my black tank top and my hayes grier sweatpants, my favorite, and slipped on a black dress, paired it with a tan peacoat, and black high heels, I curled my naturally straight light brown hair, applied my makeup, and walked out of the apartment with Chuck. We bought coffee together, and met up with Nate,Carter, and Jack. Columbia was only 2 blocks away, so we abandoned the limo and walked. We were walking when 2 girls walked up to Carter and said "Carter are you going to join our house." "umm... I don't know I'm thinking about moving in with Sarah over here" she said, I couldn't believe she would want to move in with me rather than being with 2 girls she's probelly known for years. I said " Hi am Sarah I just moved here" the girl of the 2 who was blond like Carter but taller said " Hi I'm Lucy and this is Ivy. You should move in with us too you seem like you would be a great roommate!" Carter cut in and said "That's great, Sarah and I will look at the 2 apartment options later today, but I must warn you if we move in expect many visits from Chuck and Nate" Ivy, who had dark brown hair and was a little shorter than me, said "Sure just remember to bring along Jack" smiling widely once Jack and Nate walked in the other direction to class or lacrosse. Ivy and Lucy said in unison after he left "Lets go watch the lacrosse team practice" They all started walking in the other direction when I heard Ivy yell " Sarah come on" Chuck bit his lip and whispered "How about tonight we go to this amazing sushi restraunt" I kissed his as to say yes, and walked over to Ivy and everyone. We talked about the lacrosse team then Lucy said " How long have you been together with Chuck" I repied " a month or so" "awww" they said in unison. Lucy said " You are like his first real girlfriend to bad he's moving to Los Angeles for his job for 2 months" I didnt understand "what do you mean" I replied confused "Well Chuck is a really closed off guy and never really opened up to any girls before, so he was/is kind of a player and didn't he tell you he's leaving in 2 days?! we thought he would have talked to you about it before now" Lucy said "I might need some time to myself" I said. We made it to the lacrosse field, I think Nate may have overheard us, because he walked up to us and said " Sarah can I talk to you... privately?" I nodded and followed him. As we walked he pulled off his lacrosse helmet and said "Do you want to go walk after school or get some dinner?" I said " Sure, does this have anything to do with Chuck?" Nate sighed and said " Yes." One of Nate's teammates ran up and interrupted and said " Nate what are you doing we have a huge game tomorrow?" he turned and said " I just need to talk to Sarah" "Well that isn't a good excuse because you have a girlfriend,we still have a game, and unless she is going to make the team better we need you on the field with us" said the guy, he was quite attractive he had warm brown eyes and dark brown hair, I said " Nate you should go, we could talk to night or I could meet you at the apartment" the guy said " Don't worry, Sarah. It's Sarah right?" I nodded and he continued " I'm Caleb how about I will let you go two finish talking, if I can take you to dinner tonight?" I laughed and said " Sure id love to, but can I have some privacy with Nate right now?" "Absolutely I'll pick you up at Nate's at 6" he said winking as he left. Nate turned and said " I do not know how you have that affect on guys, so where did I leave off?....Chuck" I said " O ya, it's called southern charm by the way" he laughed that reached up scratching his neck and continuing " You guys have been going longer than I've every expected and I had no idea that Chuck didn't tell you he was moving" I stopped breathing I can't not face it Chuck is moving and I have no control over it "I wanted to tell you, and the whole thing about him hopping around different girls" he said then stared at me sympathetically and entrapped me in a hug, I buried my head in his shoulder, he was sweaty but I don't really mind I needed a hug right now. He whispered into my ear, " I have to go change but I'll be right back to talk to you" I nodded but after a few minutes, Caleb came up to me and said "if you need a shoulder to cry on mine is free" I laughed then buried my head into his shoulder, his arms wrapped around me and he whispered, " If you need someone to talk too I'm here" I pulled away and said " Caleb I barely know you, but I do need someone can you walk me to my first class" he nodded and said " what is your first period" "statistics" I said " great that's mine too! what's you dilemma?" he said with a concerned look on his face I said " well my boyfriend, Chuck, I just found out tends to cheat and he is now moving and he didn't tell me! I feel like a barely know him anymore. sorry I don't mean to burden you with my problems" "don't worry how about instead of a fancy dinner, we will do something fun to cheer you up" I smiled "sure" I said he wrapped me in his arms once more as we walked into class. Classes went by quick until my last period. It was going really slow until everyone's phone went off except for mine, Caleb showed me the text it said

Hey Columbia, looks like newcomer Sarah has traded Chuck Bass for the captain of the lacrosse team. Be careful girls, has S already gone through a Bass, and an Archibald, better keep your boyfriends close. xoxo, Gossip Girl

I slammed my head down on the desk, Caleb put his arm around me and whispered " Don't worry it's just a stupid blog" I picked up my head just as the bell rang and walked out of the class as Caleb tried to say "See you tonight ".
