Lou walked through the now empty institute; his head bowed. He had just finished cleaning up around the borders of Uglyville.

His heart ached at the memory of seeing his little sister, Ivory hanging out with the Uglydolls, she looked so happy... happier than she ever looked when she was at the institute.

She never looked that happy with him, she always had a shadow looming over her.

Ivory also had a new style, she wore a black shirt with a shirt purple dress, a dark blue boa around her neck, and black high heels, she had also gotten rid of her gold star hair clip.

Lou trudged up the stairs to his sister's old room, it was exactly the way his blue haired sister had left it.

The blond doll walked towards the bed in the middle of the room, he met himself fall onto it. I'm sorry Ivory... I never meant to hurt you....

Lou got snapped out of his thoughts by a golden glow coming from the floor of the corner of his eye, he stood up and paced slowly towards it.

When he got close enough, he bent down to examine it. His eyes widened when he realized what it was, Ivory's gold star hair clip was laying on the ground in front of him.

He gently picked it up, careful not to damage it. He stiffly stood up and walked towards the window, Lou moved the curtains to the side and peeked out the window.

The blonde doll saw Uglyville in the distance draped in sunlight, he could just picture his little sister running around, not a care in the world.

He pictured her training with The Spy Girls, designing outfits with Mandy, baking with Wage, singing with Moxy, spending quality time with Ox.

He forced himself to look away and turned around, he held the hair clip to his heart. I miss you Sister, I regret not being there for you, and trying to recycle Ox and the rest of the Uglydolls.

How he so wanted to go to Uglyville and apologize to her, to see Ivory tell him "I forgive you" and hug him and never let him go.

But deep down he knew she wanted nothing to do with him, she said it herself, "how could I forgive a traitor?" He had lost the two dolls that meant the most to him, his sister and his best friend, and it was all his fault.

He just wanted them to be happy, and if him staying away from them was the answer, then so be it.

Lately, I've been, I've been thinking
I want you to be happier
I want you to be happier

When the morning comes
When we see what we've become
In the cold light of day, we're a flame in the wind
Not the fire that we've begun
Every argument, every word we can't take back
'Cause with all that has happened
I think that we both know the way that the story ends

Then only for a minute
I want to change my mind
'Cause this just don't feel right to me
I wanna raise your spirits
I want to see you smile but
Know that means I'll have to leave

Know that means I'll have to leave
Lately, I've been, I've been thinking
I want you to be happier
I want you to be happier

When the evening falls
And I'm left there with my thoughts
And the image of you being with someone else
Well, it's eating me up inside

Then only for a minute
I want to change my mind
'Cause this just don't feel right to me
I wanna raise your spirits
I want to see you smile but
Know that means I'll have to leave

Know that means I'll have to leave
Lately, I've been, I've been thinking
I want you to be happier
I want you to be happier

So I'll go, I'll go
I will go, go, go
So I'll go, I'll go
I will go, go, go

Lately, I've been, I've been thinking
I want you to be happier
I want you to be happier
Even though I might not like this
I think that you'll be happier
I want you to be happier

Then only for a minute
I want to change my mind
'Cause this just don't feel right to me
I wanna raise your spirits
I want to see you smile but
Know that means I'll have to leave

Know that means I'll have to leave
Lately, I've been, I've been thinking
I want you to be happier
I want you to be happier

So I'll go, I'll go
I will go, go, go

He slipped the hair clip into his suit pocket, he promised himself that he will never hurt her again, that it was better for her to not be around a monster like him.

After all, how could she possible forgive him?
