I woke up and tried to stretch out, but someone was holding me. I internally panicked and looked over. Alex was holding me in his arms tightly, still sleeping. I grinned, leaning my head into his chest as the memories of last night began to replay. The skatepark, arguing about love, the kiss. God, I want to go back to then. "Morning, amor." Alex mumbles in a tired voice. "Morning. I can't breathe." "Cool. Go back to sleep," I laugh, he really thinks he's funny. "Alex, I'm gonna kill you." "You wouldn't dare, amor. You just love me too much."
I laugh, looking up to face him. Alex is grinning a mile wide. "You love me, don't you?" "Of course, amor. Your beautiful I'm every way shape and form," He holds me tighter, nuzzling his head into my shoulder. "I wonder what Karl's doing." I question. "Probably streaming." Alex responds in a muffled voice. "What of stream hears us?" "Then let them. I genuinely don't care as long as Allysa doesn't know." I smile weakly as he plays with my hair. "You're so beautiful, N/n." I turn pink, he knows exactly how to make me blush. "Aw, my princess." "Shut up you fowl dick head." "Wow, someone is in a mood." He laughs, pretending to push me off of the bed. "This is the scene from Titanic." "The one where Rose became a selfish asshole and didn't let Jack in the door when there was enough room?" "You summarized it perfectly."
Alex chuckles, giving me a quick kiss before helping me back up onto the bed. "I'm mad at you now." "Aw, don't be mad. I'm the prince, you're the princess, a team. A duo, best friends and lovers until the end." He gives me a grin, wrapping an arm around my waist. I lean onto his shoulder, feeling the warmth in my heart. Are you safe? Is this a good idea, moving on so fast after Daniel? As Alex hums along to a beat he found somewhere in his head, I know my answer.
Yeah, you're safe.
