  Elianna's POV:

" Elianna get your stuff we're going to be late" my mom yelled at me. " I'm coming," I said struggling to add my school supplies to my backpack. Today was the first day of my new school after moving across the country because of my mom's job. I was looking forward to moving, but I'm not going to lie, I am kind of nervous. The school wasn't far from home. It was about 10 minutes away from my house. I honestly could walk if you ask me but, my mom won't let me. She says 'we don't really know this neighborhood'. Once we arrived in the school parking lot I began to get nervous. " Alright bud, see you later," my mom said as she rubbed the side of my face. " Ok, love you". This was it, the first day in my new school. When I first walked through the doors there was this strong lemony scent.

There were a lot more students than I anticipated despite moving to a small town in Georgia. As I started to find the school's office I realize people weren't staring at me. That was one thing I was nervous about.  Back in California, all people did was stare. I didn't talk to anyone until I met my friend Abby.  We were beginning to become close friends until she moved to Utah because her parents divorced. Ever since - we haven't talked.

I arrived at the office and I read a name tag that said Mrs. Phisher. 'That is a weird name' I say to myself. "Good Morning," I say as she lifts her head and gives me that what is it now look. "What do you need".  "I'm Elianna Foster. The new girl that was supposed to be coming today?" said with a confused look on my face as she typed her long nails against the keys. " Here is your schedule. Don't loose it because you will not be given another one," she says while the printer prints off my one-sheeted schedule. "Thank you" I grab my schedule and make may out of the door. I look at the piece of paper I have in my hand and just my luck, first period is math. Math has always been the subject I struggled with at school. I make my way into the classroom and I see fucking Dayton Smith and his bitchy girlfriend Khloe Taylor. Let me give you a little of a back story on Dayton and I's relationship. I have known him since kindergarten and he is an annoying piece of shit.

Why? You may ask. All the girls stumble over his light brown eyes, light brown skin, curly hair hanging over his forehead, 6'3 toned muscular body, veiny hands, and his deep voice. Not to mention he is the captain of the soccer team and he also is a talented musician. I believe he is ugly as fuck, but you know that's my opinion. Back in first grade, we had a Halloween party and of course, we had a bunch of snacks. I decided I want some corn chips, but for some reason, the bag wouldn't open. So I used all of my six-year-old strength and the bag broke and corn chips went flying everywhere. I was humiliated. Dayton and his friends were laughing their asses off. Ever since then, he has been calling me corn chips and I fucking hate it.

I scan the classroom to find an open seat and the only one that is open is beside Dayton.  Hopefully, he doesn't notice me. I walk to the seat and take my books out. " Hey, corn chips," he says with a grin on his face.

Oh boy, it is going to be a long day.

I hope you liked the first chapter of this book. Writing is not one of my strong suits but I try my best. Please be patient with me, I may or may not be able to update regularly.

See you later Peeps!!
