The children had eventually made their way to the train tracks they had hoped to reach

"Coming through the woods I bet we saved over an hour" teddy explained

"Teddy?"gordie asked

"Yeah?" he answered

"Isn't this the back Harlow Road?" he asked curiously

"Yeah..." teddy said slowly

"Brower must be here someplace..." Katie said slowly before gripping onto Gordie's hand

Soon to be followed by Sarah grabbing onto Chris's hand

"Teddy you and Vern watch the left side of the tracks and the rest of you we go on the right" Chris explained

"Alright" teddy said before parting their ways with the rest of the gang

They walked so far down the track until Vern shouted

"I see him I see him!" he said pointing at ray brower's dead body

Everybody quickly ran over to Vern to see if what he saw was true

It was true
None of them could breathe
Somewhere under those bushes were the rest of ray brower's

Katie quickly tightened her grip on gordie's hand

Once Sarah saw the remains of her brothers body she just broke down and began to cry into Chris's shoulder

"H-holy shit..." Katie managed to say

Then Chris quickly pushed past everyone to see the body slowly to be followed by everybody else

The train had knocked ray Brower out completely just like it had knocked the life out of his body

"Jesus..." Chris muttered

The kid wasn't sick
The kid wasn't sleeping
The kid was dead

Chris grabbed a twig to reveal his dead body

Sarah couldn't bear to look

They all stood silently for a moment until Chris said

"Let's look for some long branches we can build him a stretcher"

Then most of them walked off to find some branches until gordie didn't move

"Gordie...?" Katie asked slowly

But no answer

"Why did you have to die," gordie said staring at ray's dead body

"What's wrong with gordie" teddy asked

"Nothing you guys just look for branches," Katie said whilst sitting next to gordie

Then Chris slowly followed
