Chapter 53 - Concussion

Y/N: Just get in. It's about a 10 minute drive

You all get in and drive over to your favorite spot and then get out and start to walk into the forest. After about a 3 mile hike, you can hear the waterfall and you have a smile on your face. You run to the top of the waterfall and jump off into the water after doing a backflip. Everyone has a smile on their face and next thing you know, Alex does a front flip off the top and lands next to you and you start to laugh

Nat: Really Alex?

Alex: What? Are you scared?

Nat: No

Y/N: Then do it mom

Nat: I'm really dating a kid

Alex: I'm not a kid, just a kid at heart

Y/N: Do a flip!

Nat and Wanda get to the top and jump off together and the both do a front flip together landing perfectly and Wanda swims up to you and dunks you under. Kara jumps in from the top and Lena does a cannon ball right next to the group. Nat and Alex swim over to you and pull you aside for a second

Nat: Ok, what are you worried about? I know that look

Y/N: Just a notification on my phone about the wedding and I just want to give Wanda the best day of her life but I'm scared

Alex: I get that but you are enough. You being yourself is all she wants. She wants you. All of you

Y/N: Thanks guys

Nat: On another note, show us your hand please?

Y/N: Why?

Alex: I heard you wince earlier and I want to check something

Y/N: I popped it back into place. It's fine

Nat: Why didn't you say anything?

Y/N: Nervous, idk

Alex: I get it. Just let me see

You show Alex your hand and she notices that it's not fully back into place. You let her take your hand and when she goes to touch the two fingers, you start to wince in pain

Alex: This is going to hurt

Y/N: How bad?

Alex: A 12 on a scale of 1-10

Nat: Hold your breathe and go under water and scream out the pain

Y/N: Ok

Alex: On the count of 3

Nat: 1... 2... 3

On 3 you go underwater and scream as Alex resets your hand and fingers so that you can close your fingers. Once Alex is done, Nat pulls you up and hugs you. Alex hugs you and apologizes for having to do that.

Y/N: It's ok. You needed to do it. It's fine Alex

Alex: I do love you, you know that right?

Y/N: Yes I do. I'm sorry mom and Alex

Nat: It's ok. Just be careful please

Y/N: I try to be

You three go back over to the others, when you decide to go back to the top and want to do a crazy handstand to a back flip and Alex just shakes her head at you when you finally land in the water

Nat: That's not what I meant by be careful

Y/N: I thought that it would be cool if I landed it

Wanda: You do realize, if you hurt yourself anymore, there will be no more fun time for a very long time plus no missions

Y/N: I'm sorry. No more some what stupid shit

Nat: No more stupid shit period

Y/N: Fine

Alex: Otherwise, no bow, shooting or training for a week. You will be bored

Y/N: Ok. I don't want to lose that. I'm done

Kara: Good

Lena: Ok, now that we are soaked and have no towel or clothes, what are we going to do?

Y/N: We can dry off in the cave

Alex: What cave?

Nat: There's a cave?

Y/N: Behind the waterfall, there's a cave *Smiles to herself*

The five of them go into the cave and you swim up to them and you all dry off and listen to the quietness of the birds and other animals in the woods. After about 30 minutes, you fell asleep on Alex's lap with Nat and Wanda smiling at the two of you. Wanda takes a photo of you two. About an hour later, you wake up and smile.

Wanda: Have a good nap there love?

Y/N: Yes I did but how did I end up on Alex's lap? Sorry Alex, I didn't mean to fall asleep on your lap

Alex: It's ok sweetheart. I promise

Y/N: Wait? Where's Kara & Lena?

Nat: They went out on a walk

Y/N: I'm sorry I took you away from mom though to go on a walk with her

Nat: Will you stop apologizing please? Your fine. The three of you matter to me the most. You are #1 in my heart and I know that Alex feels the same about you. So stop

Y/N: Ok. I love you all so much

Wanda: Can I ask a really stupid question?

Y/N: If it's when mom and Alex pulled me aside earlier, it's because I winced after lunch when I came out after the restroom and tried to reset my fingers but they weren't all the way back in. I don't know why I didn't say anything. I promise I'm fine.

Wanda: I thought we promised not to keep secrets from each other and that included being hurt?

Y/N: We did. I'm sorry love. *Tears in eyes*

Wanda: I'm sorry love but I just don't think that I could lose you let alone Nat

Nat and Wanda hug you and kiss your cheek. Alex hugs you next and you sit there chatting for a bit longer before you decide that it was time to head home to get changed into drier clothes and do a movie night. You four got up and walked out to the cars where you saw Lena and Kara waiting. You all got into the cars and drove home to get dry and changed.
