Thunder ~ Thor

xi. Returning to Asgard

The blonde prince glares at his brother and responds, "I have changed."

"So have I," Loki immediately adds after his brother's answer. Without another word, Loki strikes Thor across the face with the end of the staff. The eldest prince turns his face to the side from the impact as Loki leans forward and demands, "Now fight me." Loki hits Thor with the staff again, causing the blonde to fall onto the ground and skid across the floor. Thor lands on his back as Loki shouts over at his brother, "I never wanted the throne!" The blonde prince gets back onto his feet as the raven haired prince walks over to his brother while saying, "I only ever wanted to be your equal."

Loki slows down his pace as Thor exclaims, "I will not fight you, brother!"

The younger prince halts all together as he informs the blonde prince, "I'm not you brother. I never was."

Thor shakes his head as he tells the raven haired prince, "Loki, this is madness."

With tears in his eyes, Loki angrily asks, "Is it madness? Is it? Is it?" Thor just stares at his brother with his brows furrowed. "Come on. What happened to you on Earth that turned you so soft? Was it Freya? Did you realize that she loves you even if she doesn't yet know what it is to love someone?" He pauses for a second and Thor rolls his eyes at his brother's words. Loki shakes his head and scoffs, "Don't tell me it was that woman." When Thor doesn't respond, Loki's eyes widen as he says, "Oh! It was! Well, maybe, when we're finished here, I'll pay her a visit myself!"

The blonde prince lets out a yell as both brothers lunge at each other. Mjolnir and Odin's staff collide, sparking a bright light at the impact. Loki falls back onto the ground with Thor on top of him. The raven haired prince pushes his brother off of him and onto the ground a little bit away from him. The God of Mischief gets onto his feet and rushes over to his brother. Thor rolls out of the way as Loki swings the staff down onto the blonde. The blonde prince sweeps Loki's feet from out underneath the young prince, sending him to the ground.

Thor hops up onto his feet and slams the hammer down onto the staff, which is placed just above Loki's neck. Electricity and bright lights emit from the impact of the hammer and the staff. Loki fends off his brother's attack and kicks the blonde's stomach, sending Thor stumbling back. Loki gets onto his feet and shouts as he rushes over to Thor, who deflects his brother's blows with Mjolnir. The raven haired prince kicks Thor to the ground before he leaps into the air, soaring toward his brother. The staff hits the ground right as Thor moves out of the way.

The blonde prince gets up and swings the hammer at Loki, who bends backwards to avoid the weapon. Loki uses the staff, which is embedded into the ground to swing around and kick his brother's back. Thor stumbles as Loki lets out a laugh as he lands both feet back onto the ground. The raven haired prince yanks the staff out of the ground and swings it back and forth at his brother as Thor deflects the blow with his hammer. The blonde prince turns his back to his brother and elbows Loki in the face before the blonde throws the trickster across the room.

Loki falls onto the floor as Thor jumps into the air and raises Mjolnir up above his head. The raven haired prince gets onto his feet and sends a blast at Thor, who collides with his brother, causing both Asgardians to fly out of the golden dome. Thor and Loki tumble along the rainbow bridge before the latter rolls off the side and grabs onto the bridge to prevent from falling to his death. Loki desperately calls out to his brother for help, "Thor!" The God of Thunder gets onto his feet and walks over to his younger brother, who is holding onto the rainbow bridge for dear life. Thor stares down at Loki, who looks into his brother's eyes and pleads, "Brother, please."

After a moment of hesitation, Thor crouches down to help his brother up onto the bridge. Right as Thor reaches to grab Loki's hand, the image of the raven haired prince disappears, causing Thor to drop his mouth out of shock that he had been tricked by his brother. Loki lets out a laugh as he rushes behind his brother. Thor spins around as Loki hits him with the staff, causing the blonde to fall onto his back. The younger prince stares down at his brother and laughs as multiple images of Loki appear to surround Thor. The many images of Loki lift their staff and point it at Thor, who lifts his hammer into the air and summons lighting as he shouts, "Enough!"
