It was fifteen years later that something... Went wrong. A power failure put a damper on the Aether Foundation's work one day, but as the president was about to find out, it did more than just slow their research. Two Pokemon disappeared that day. Two very important Pokemon. The president was furious. All her work, all her research just went down the drain. UB Stardust, as she had named it, was gone. And so was her Ultra Beast slayer. But how did this happen? They were supposed to be secured in chambers from which they could not have possibly escaped... Unless someone purposefully freed the Beast Slayer from its cell. But UB Stardust, with its teleportation powers, was much more capable of getting away if the teleportation dampeners were turned off by an "accidental" power outage. But where could it have gone?...
And now that our introduction is over, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Mr. Knightly. And I'm here to tell you a tale which is one part origin, one part adventure, and one part love letter to someplace dear to me. Somewhere very, very dear.
