Chapter two

I was a bit nervous to say this for some unknown reason but I'd probably have to. "Well, you see," I pause for a moment wondering how I should word it so it doesn't sound depressing "I've had candy twice before but that was when I was really young. I don't seem to remember what I got so I was wondering if you could recommend something for me."

Noya nodded eagerly at me and started pulling a bunch of candy from the shelf. "There's all kinds of different candies. Caramel, chocolate, mint, hard candy, gummies, lollipops. Pretty much anything sweet." He showed me a bunch of the ones he pulled off.

"Wow, so many choices." I was stunned. "I'm not even sure what I should get. What's your favorite?" I ask.

"This one is but you know what?" Noya pointed to his favorite. It was a box full of chewy caramel.

"What?"

"I'll just get it all. You can eat whatever you want. Then you can see what you want." He put them all in the basket of the shopping cart.

"No way. I don't need you to do that. That's too much!" I wave my hands around as to say no.

He didn't listen and just walked around to get some more stuff. I just sigh and allow him to do whatever he wants. "Alright! Let's go pay them we can walk around a bit before going to the movies!" Noya enthusiastically cheered.

I just followed him, not knowing what to do or where to walk. Noya set the stuff on a table and a woman scans them. As she looked up to tell Noya the price she froze. "Oh my, the prince?!" She was rather loud from shock and people all turn to face him.

People came over from all over the place. They were all in his face and Noya looked pretty uncomfortable. I separated everyone from him to help "please give the prince some space." My voice loud and demanding. "Just step away from him for a moment, the prince just needs to go shopping." People stepped away realizing I was his guard. They also seemed intimidated from me. That was a new thing for me. I'm always so shy and nervous but when it comes to the prince I guess I could get a little intimidating.

Nishinoya grabbed what we bought and looked at me with a smile. He grabbed my hand with his free one and held it. His hands are so tiny but they felt so nice in mine. He giggled as we ran out. "I knew you were my guard but I was not expecting you to be that intimidating. You're usually so soft and kind but that was a little surprising to me." He looked up at me with confusion in his eyes

I blush lightly "yeah-uh- that's just how I was trained. I mean, I've always been shy and quiet but you looked uncomfortable... sorry if I scared you..." I mumble.

"Oh- thanks for that though. People always tend to get pushy with me when I'm in public. It was nice for you to get me some space. I just never expected you to be like THAT. I guess it's to be expected for my guard to be like that but..." Nishinoya explained "sorry I'm rambling" he chuckled softly

"I get it. And, please don't apologize. Especially to someone like me."

"Oh my god, Asahi, you need to stop degrading yourself. Everyone deserves an apology. You know, you're just as good as me. I'm not anything different from you or anyone else. Just born into some lame family that everyone cares about." Nishinoya is beyond nice. He makes me smile.

"Oh-ok" I agree because I'm sure he wouldn't allow me to do otherwise. His hand felt so soft as he held his in mine. It was cute how small they are. He giggled as we ran around town just gooding off and him showing me all his favorite places. To be honest, I'm having the best time of my life. Going around with Nishinoya was great. He's really cute and fun to be with. I'd do anything to stay with him forever though that'd be impossible not have to retire in my midlife fifths or sixties, get replaced and never see him ever again. He'd get married to some pretty women, not me... i wish it could be me. Wait- I want to marry him? No. That can't be right. There's no way that could happen and there's no way I could have fallen in love with the Prince of all people.

After seeing every part of the town from corner to corner Nishinoya decided to finally take me to the theater. We entered and it was massive inside. There were so many people. So much to see. There were big flattened on the walls showing the movies playing and a big bar that sold popcorn, drinks,, and candy. Not to mention, there was an ice cream stand too!!! Everything looked so nice. Nita and I went up to the booth to buy our tickets. "Hey, asahi? What do you wanna see?"

Me!?!? He wants me to decide?!?! I dont have the slightest clue about anything movie related. "You know I've never seen a movie before. I wouldn't know which genera I like or the quality of the plots!"

"Asahi, you've been reading so many books! You know what you like. I'm also pretty sure that movie up there is based off of a book." Nishinoya seemed to want me to make a decision this time. I look to the movie title Nishinoya had pointed to. 'Wonder', that was such a wonderful book. Very well written and brought me to tears.

"Yes, that was such a good book. Do you mind if I wanna see that?" I ask for permission.

"Silly, I just tod you to pick it out. If you wanna see it then that's what we are watching. Now then, two adult tickets for Asahi." Nishinoya hadn't said his name out of fear of being noticed. So far no one has recognized him and he clearly wants it to stay that way. We got out for the next showing in the convenient time of 30 minutes until it starts. We found some nice seats in the middle and sat down. Nishinoya set the popcorn down between us and untucked his shirt, allowing the tons of candy fall onto his lap. There was so much candy it was crazy!!!

He's so cute i couldn't help but smile he's just so sweet and adorable, just wanna hug him. I must have been staring because he tilted his head to his side and asked, "you ok there?" I nodded and looked back at the extremely large screen. I've never seen any so big befire. There were commercials playing but it was still fascinating to me to see

"Thank you " that was all I had to say. It was dark in the theater. Darker than I expected but the light from the bright screen in the front wall lights up the room. I looked down at all of the candy. There were so many choices I have no clue which to try first! Nishinoya could seems to tell so he placed a box of chewy Carmel on my lap. I nod and open it. It smelt pretty good so I popped one in my mouth. I was in heaven. The taste was phenomenal it was sao sweet and chewy it melted in my mouth. I smile a bright smile and look at Nishinoya. He smiled back and patted my head. Suddenly the movie started and I got right into it

I've eaten way more candy and popcorn than I should have. I had a heavy stomach that hurt a bit. Heck, I might even throw up! "Asahi? Did you like the movie?" I nodded and go on a whole conversation about how much I liked it but the small parts I disliked, as well as that were different from the book. I overall loved the movie. It was so cool to see the characters personified in real life.

We laughed together and had a great time before going back to the car to go back to the castle. I'm the car we talked some more. "Hey, I was wondering what it's like to be in such high status? Rich, famous, so privileged?" I ask

He looks at me for a second "I'm not really sure how to explain it but I'll try. It's kind of weird, my parents don't really care about my brothers as much because I'm the oldest. Because I'm the oldest and the most important I have tons of restrictions that my brothers don't have. When I'm in public, I try to stay undercover but sometimes I'm adventurous. I guess I just push the rules because o feel the need for more freedom" he explained. It's funny how different we are. He hates rules and following rules is my whole life. "What about you? What's it like being a guard?" He asked

I thought for a moment. I never really thought too much into my profession. I've been training for this before I could even have a dream. "I'm not sure. It's not like I chose to be a guard. It was my dads dream for me. I'm still not sure if this is what I want but being with you... I'm not sure why but it makes this fun. Being with you is really nice. This is a huge difference from my training."

He looks perplexed for a second, thinking. "I'm glad I make your job fun." He told me as we just made it back to the castle.

Today was the best day I've ever had.
