Nat:
"I see what you mean, but where are you going with this?"

I want to move a bit but I don't want Pep to have to move. She gets up and I look at her like a hurt puppy. She smiles and lays down beside me. She pats her chest and I smile lying next to her resting my head on her chest. She starts gently playing with my hair.

I hum in response to hey playing with my hair. I relax listening to her heartbeat. before I fall asleep she starts talking again, in a soft, warm voice.

Pep:
"I'm saying I like the kid. If it is good with you I wouldn't mind adopting him or reaching out to his guardians about co-ownership. He has been hurt and I don't think he feels safe wherever he was staying. If it's his guardian, the guardian's possible significant other, school, bullies.

"Whatever it is I would like to help him. Also possibly get a new member of the family. I see your chats and how he acts, he is also cuddly. Perfect for both of us and the rest of the family. He seems perfect to the rest as well, he also has a mischievous side that would love pranks I think."

I look up at her before setting my head back on her chest. Moving it up under her chin, resting my head under her chin I hum in agreement smiling at what she is thinking of.

I close my eyes a smile still spread across my face. I pull the covers over myself a bit more curling up into her warm embrace a bit more. Exhaustion taking over my mind I sigh contentedly. I nuzzle up to Pepper. Sleep and a Russian accent lacing my voice I speak to Pepper;

Nat:
"Luv u, pep. I th'nk 'mma take a nap"

Pep:
"Love you to мой дорогой паук."
(my dear spider)

Soon to fall asleep I feel Pepper place a kiss on my head before running her hands through my hair. I let myself fully relax before falling asleep.

Pepper's POV

I smile as Nat is falling asleep in my arms. I hear her tiredly say;

Nat:
"Luv u, pep. I th'nk 'mma take a nap"

After a second in a soft voice I quickly reply;

Pep:
"Love you to мой дорогой паук."
(my dear spider)

I gently place a kiss on her head before pushing the hair out of her face. I start gently running my hands running through her hair. I feel her relax and soon hear her a quiet snore.

I smile gently. I'm glad she trusts me enough to be this open and relaxed. I rub her back gently and place another gentle kiss on her forehead. I smile thinking of our family. Nat, Wanda, Pietro, and I. Soon Peter may be a part of our family.

Peter seems kind and smart, but also seemingly has more than one personality. He's been hurt just by the way he is close but closed off. He would be the perfect addition to our weird family. He is still getting hurt.

Judging from just how closed off he is it's from someone he trusted with his life, I'm pretty sure those scars have something to do with it. I'm pretty sure I saw something carved into his skin.

It said disappointment. Who did that? I am cut off from my thoughts when I hear a knock. I look up to find both kids at the door. I smile warmly and motion that they can come and lay down. Wanda walks up and lays beside Nat wrapping her arms around Nat's sleeping figure.

Peter looks at me confused. I smile warmly at him and motion him to come over patting the bed beside me. He hesitates before slowly coming to sit beside me. I show him my hand before gently placing it around him.
