"Cariño," Even with his hands raised to his chest, the blood dripping from the slash on his left cheek and the loud uneasiness of his breathing filling the room, he still was the one who made her feel.
Just the drip of the 3 syllable word off his tongue made her want to drop to her knees and reward him for being so fine. And he knew it. So, he said it again. "Cariño. Mami. You know you don't want to shoot me, right?"
Her hands were steady on the pistol, that heavy 9mm basically dancing in all 10 fingers as her heartbeat slowed down and she aimed for what would be a clean, perfect shot right through his temple. Yet, she was still playing all the cards she had left and she knew he could read her poker face. She was quiet for too long.
She knew better than to answer him, though. No. That was weak. As many questions as she had, she knew this wasn't the time or place. And she needed him to know she was serious. That she was trained for this, no matter her feelings.
She cocked the gun loud enough for it to be heard down the hallway, her heels echoing throughout the office as she stepped closer, the barrel between his eyeballs now as they locked eyes. She chose to speak then. "And why don't I?"
"You haven't yet. You know I'm not the one you want."
"You're the one that lied to me."
"They're all lying to you, love."
For the half second that her heart had stopped to flutter at the nickname, he leaned forward, his right hand smacking the gun and managing to turn her around 360 so her back was pressed against his front. With his hands enclosed in both of hers, he kicked the gun that was now on the floor to the side swiftly, his lips resting on her neck as he held her tightly, letting her inhale that wonderful scent of Bvlgari cologne. "Thought you wanted to shoot me, mi cielo?"
"Let go." She could feel his heartbeat vibrating throughout her body as his right hand came trailing beside her exposed thigh in her body clinging dress, his grip on her becoming looser as he began to hike it up. Suddenly pushing her face down against the desk, holding her down with both hands behind her back.
Instantly she could feel the excitement begin to drip between her legs, knowing she couldn't even be mad at him if she wanted too. Despite all of this, she wanted to jump his bones too. But it wasn't the time for that either. When his left hand found her throat, wrapping around securely and turning her to face him, she knew he had won. And along with that, his other hand was on the string of her white thong, pulling them down so they were around her ankles.
"Don't," She was quick to look away from him, fighting not looking into his eyes at first then, letting it be. So much for not looking weak.
She stepped out of the lace panties fully, tucking a stray hair away behind her ear as she watched his eyes soften looking at hers and reached out to grab his face. "Stop. Tell me the truth, Santi."
"You already know," He filled the small gap they had between them again, his lips capturing hers as he kissed her both tenderly and fiercely. Letting her feel the passion in his body. His two front teeth grazing her bottom lip softly as he rested both hands on her waist, but stepped back just enough to give her room to breathe. "And you know you don't want me to stop."
"So what?" She watched his eyes dart away to the door for a split second before he looked at her again, that look of hunger in his eyes as she took a step back, hitching herself on top of the wooden desk with her dress bunched at her waist once more. "You saying you wanna taste me?"
"Thought you'd never ask," His eyes went to the size of two large pizza pies, a sly smile forming as he began sliding between her legs, her point of view just the most perfect. "Honey Bea. What's the odds of you tasting just as sweet as your name?"
