"Yes yes, that's why I'm willing to part with this."

(Y/N) held their breath as they watched the man retract his hand from within his coat, his palm hiding the object so they couldn't see it right away. The moment he unfurled his fingers around the object, they let out a gasp of disbelief, the exhale showing just how much excitement they had as steam erupted out of their nose.

"Is that... a vision?!" (Y/N) exclaimed happily with starry eyes, squealing in excitement as their face began to warm up and their clutched hands went in front of their mouth like an embarrassed school girl. He watched them squirm around with disinterest as the angle of the sun removed the shade and caused the gem to glow an even brighter blue than it normally would.

"You've got it. This here is Hydro, and its brimming with power begging to be used." He exclaimed while turning it around, rotating it and flipping it from front to back to give them a full view at the distance.

The shining colors and possibilities enticed (Y/N) to outstretch their hand in his direction, but just as their finger was about to make contact with the vision, the man pulled his arm towards himself before flipping open his trench coat once again and hiding the vision away from their sight.

He shook his head back and forth, his eyes gently shut and lips pursed as he felt the vision drop in his pocket and clink against another one that was in there.

"Ah ah, First you need to prove I can trust you with this."

Determinedly nodding their head, (Y/N) accepted the challenge as they walked backwards to put some more distance between the two of them since they noticed they were invading his personal space.

"Of course, I can overcome anything!"

"Sheesh! What a steal. I can't believe it! I got a vision!"

(Y/N) happily clutched the item in their hands, the gold rim digging into their palms painfully but they ignored the discomfort since they were too distracted with admiring it and keeping it safe. Vision wielders really took their powers for granted because they knew so many people that would go to great lengths to achieve one, theirself included.

They brought the item up to their face and pressed it against their cheek, the cool sensation it gave off relieving when compared to the beaming sun that was shining down upon them. Pulling it away from their face, they gave the biggest grin they could muster up before planting their lips on the item that was suffocated in that mans pocket for who knows how long, repeatedly kissing it before raising it in the air like a child.

"And to think it only cost me all the mora in my pockets-- even though it wasn't enough, he was nice enough to give it to me along with the gold pendant I found on Captain's ship! Maybe I should try it out..."

They continued to raise it up in the air, the sun glinting off the glass protective covering while the blue coloring seemed to swirl as they turned it around.

Suddenly distracting (Y/N) from their moment with the newly purchased gem, a loud shout broke through the air as fingers pointed in their direction and people whispered. Civilians curiously looked over at them as they stood in front of a public bakery, flaunting their vision for everyone to see while praising it like some type of god.

"THERE! GRAB EM'!"

"Eh?"

Before they could even register what was going on, the breath was knocked out of their lungs and their vision flew out of their grasp making their eyes widen in shock. Arms wrapped around their torso and tackled them over, making them lose their balance and fall hard, their back hitting the ground as the person refused to let them go even as they began to sporadically kick and wave their hands.

Their sight went blurry for a moment at the pain, though as quick as it happened the fuzziness vanished. Staring horrified towards the vision that was falling, they helplessly watched as it was quickly snatched up by a patrolling guard.

"HOLY SHIT-- NOOOOO MY VISION!"

(Y/N) desperately clawed at the person to get off of them, while the person relentlessly made sure they were unable to get up as they grabbed their handcuffs and attempted to clip them around (Y/N)'s wrists.

After a bit of struggle and assistance from the man who had caught (Y/N)'s vision, the handcuffs were able to get on. unfortunately, (Y/N) wouldn't give up and persisted in attacking so they had to bound their legs and shove a cloth in their mouth as well.

"Subject has been detained and the vision has been confiscated!" A heavily huffing officer said as they swiped at their eyebrow to wipe off the sweat that was gathering.

"Very good. Bring it to the general for inspection and so it can be placed upon the statue."

Before he could respond, (Y/N), who had been busy focusing getting the cloth shoved in their mouth out with their tongue had finally succeeded as they spat it out to the side before sending a heavy glare over towards the man who had slid their vision in his pocket.

"LET GOOOO! I JUST GOT THAT!"

"Zip it! Keep resisting and we'll--"

"ASSHOLE, YOU'RE JUST MAD YOU'RE NOT SPECIAL ENOUGH TO BE GIVEN ONE!"

He deadpanned and looked over at his squadron leader, who also had an apathetic expression as they stared at the unruly person who was resisting far more than a normal person would when knowing the consequences that could come with it.

"Let's detain them. We will have to run a background check and verify their travel permit before allowing them clearance anyways." The leader of the three decided with a nod of his head, gesturing for the person that tackled (Y/N) to take them away.

(Y/N) began to sweat as his words rang throughout their head, an unfamiliar term reverberating as they attempted to make sense of it.

'Travel permit?!'

"Understood."
