(THIS IS MY VOICE SINGING WHEN WILL MY LIFE BEGIN)

Year ago, much before the time of the Encanto, was the kingdom of Corona. There was a fair queen and her loyal husband. A family of respectful rulers, years went along and kingdoms fell. The Encanto grew and the kingdom died. The last queen was pregnant and grew ill. The only thing that saved her was a glowing flower, however someone else wanted it. When the girl was born, she was born with a Miracle. She could heal with her hair, however there is always a double edge, as she could also kill.

The young girl was stolen and swept away to the encanto. She was kept by an evil woman, who only allowed her out on occasions. This is where our story begins

Florence scrambled around her room, hair trailing behind her as she scrambled to prepare for her outing with her mother. She danced around joyfully, pulling her hair into a long braid, and she grinned happily. Pascal sitting on her shoulder as she made her way across the room

7 AM, the usual morning lineup

Start on the chores and sweep 'til the floor's all clean

Polish and wax, do laundry, and mop and shine up

Sweep again, and by then it's like 7:15!

And so I'll read a book

Or maybe two or three

I'll add a few new paintings to my gallery

I'll play guitar and knit

And cook and basically

Just wondering when will my life begin?

Then after lunch it's puzzles and darts and baking

Papier-mâché, a bit of ballet and chess

Pottery and ventriloquy, candle making

Then I'll stretch, maybe sketch, Take a climb, sew a dress!

And I'll reread the books

If I have time to spare

I'll paint the walls some more

I'm sure there's room somewhere

And then I'll brush and brush

and brush and brush my hair

Stuck in the same place I've always been

And I'll keep wondering' and wondering

And wondering and wondering

When will my life begin?

And tomorrow night

The lights will appear

Just like they do on my birthday each year

What is it like

Out there where they glow?

Now that I'm older

Mother might just

Let me go...

"Darling! Let's go! Your music number cannot last all day." A woman yanked her along, pulling her towards the stairway out of the tall tower and into the village ahead.

4 little children came running through the crowd, each of them excitedly stopping in their tracks. "FLORENCE!" They exclaimed, grabbing her arms and swinging them around. "Can you come with us!?" One requested, the others giving her mother a pleading look. "Can she can she?" Isadora rolled her eyes and then nodded. "Thank you mother," Florence pressed a quick kiss to the cheek before the children pulled her along. They sang happily with Mirabel, who was talking about her family.

A man handed off something to Mirabel, he rambled about how she didn't have a special gift. Mirabel rolled her eyes and headed inside the casita. Florence followed her quietly, smiling as the madrigals greeted her. She rushed to a struggling Mirabel to help. "Love, you need to calm down, it's all okay." Mirabel looked over to her, "No, I need to help mi familia, they need to know that just because I don't have a gift doesn't mean I'm useless." Florence blinked, surprised at the sudden confession. "Mira, you are not useless," "sure feels that way."

Suddenly, Camillo rushed over excitedly grabbing Florence's hand and spinning her around. "Hola mi amor, it's good to see you." she giggled happily, shoeless feet allowing her to spin more. She gave him a dazzling smile and slowed herself down, only to be lifted up by Luisa. Luisa also smiled at her, "Hi." she whispered. "Hello." was the only reply, the surprised girl being set down by the flustered Luisa. After everything had calmed down, Dolores and Isabella walked over.

"Oh my gods! Its so good to see you, you haven't left that damn tower in weeks and its sooo boring without you. Why is your madre so stingy about you leaving, I can hear her talking. You know, something about a flower and magic ha- MHPFH!" Dolores was cut off by a hand over her mouth, Florence panicking kicking her in the shin as well. "OW WHAT THE HELL" Dolores scrambled away, hissing angry Spanish words and glaring at her. Isabella stepped over her and rolled her eyes. She flicked her hair back and put on a shining smile

"Hola, Mi cielito." Florence stared at her wide eyed, cheeks flushed and hurting from her smiling so big. Behind her, the madrigal children making fake barfing noises and staring jealousy. They all talked for a few moments, until an angry Isadora came inside.

"Florence, Lets go!" Florence looked down, turning to the family of Mirabel and smiling softly. "Adios, Hope I'll be able to get to the ceramony." With that, the Garcia family promptly left.
