It was midnight. The phone had been ringing for the past 5 minutes but the couple didn't bother to pick it up until it became extremely infuriating.
"Who the hell is this calling in the middle of the night?! Even a sloth would have the manners to stop calling again and again in the middle of the night if the people don't pick up!" James screeched
"Calm down honey. It must be important." Julia said calmly.
He trudged to the phone in anger and picked it up, putting it on speaker.
"Hello father. Hello mother." said a sweet voice they remembered clearly.
James froze immediately. His face turned pale and he was on the verge of fainting. Julia had gone blue and her head spinned around. They were confused as if they were living a dream... a bad one.
Years, ago a girl had gone missing. Twenty five years later, her parents got a call from her older self. But they listened in fear because they killed their daughter that dark night years ago.
"How-!" he whispered.
"Ah well. That's a conversation for later. I just called to inform you. 2 people have come to live in Mason Mansion. Well, had. One is dead but the woman is perfect. She will complete what I promised you when u murdered me. Be ready! And don't waste your last days trying to hide darlings. It wont work."
And the phone call was cut. The terrified couple dying inside.
