THIRD-PERSON

Devil was never good at expressing his emotions, but something about that expression really threw them off. His face became bitter. He clenched their teeth in anger. Watching them get so emotional in front of him was something he was used to. But this time, it seems like it hit his last straw.

"Fuck you? You're saying fuck you to me?"

Devil could not really understand the main reason for that backlash. He was smart and all, but this confused him. They were scared of confusion and it made him bring up his guard even more.

"You're the one that did not want to go home in the first place, I let you stay here. I didn't kill you, I barely even hurt you and you're saying fuck you to me?"

"I never asked to be here, Devil."

They yelled at the tall broad man defenselessly.

Y/n could be easily overpowered by Devil. I mean, Devil has so much fighting experience. What could Y/n do? It's not like what they said even mattered. Their life was in Devils hands in the end after all. Despite this, one would be unsure who was the most scared one in this situation.

"Yeah, you didn't. But did you really want to be there in the first place?"

He pleaded with Y/n. Almost like he was convincing them that they didn't want to leave and that they wanted to stay with him after all.

"No, I didn't. I really didn't"

Y/n stood up from the couch, walked a couple of steps away, and faced Devil.

"I didn't want to be there at all! Ok? Is that what you wanted to hear? I wanted to be somewhere far away. where I could just forget about everything that has ever happened to me, and finally be safe. Is that what you wanted me to tell you?"

Devil took a couple of seconds to answer.

"Listen, Y/n. I know things have been hard recently, processing everything that's been happening to you but I can't just let you leave like that. Not without at least some supervision. Please, just understand me."

"You can't let me leave YOU, Devil. You don't want me to leave YOU."

Devil ignored Y/n and stepped forward towards them. Almost in an unthreatening, comforting manner. He opened his arms to them and took slow correlated steps.

"No! Get away from me!"

Y/n rushed backward clumsily until they hit the wall.

"Y/n, don't be scared of me. Please."

Devil stopped in his tracks after they hit the wall. He tapped his foot impatiently with his arms still up. Finally, after a few minutes of watching them shake and tremble, he sighed and brought his arms down.

"Fine, you can go out. But I want you to call me if anything goes wrong. And if I call you, you need to pick up. Ok? Is that ok?"

Devil seemed frantic and worried for Y/ns answer. As it turned out, he didn't like for them to be mad at him. He waited there eagerly like a puppy. Y/n stood there frozen for a while, before slowly thawing out and nodding. Y/n walked closer to Devil.

"I don't want you threatening me anymore. It's not cool."

Devil nodded quickly and stepped back.

"Ok, I'm sorry. Do you need anything to help you feel better?"

Y/N POV

What a joke. After he just threatened me, and almost did it, he's offering me something to help me feel better?

"No," I said bitterly and coldly. "I'm leaving now."

You left out the window, and Devil stared in awe behind you. He started to shake. They looked at their hands, then back at the window.

He's gonna follow you, by the way! ;)
