It was Chitmas Eve, and the Egglestons were hosting a small Chitmas party for Alex's friend group. "Is that one of your friends, sweetie?" Alex's mom inquired from the kitchen.

"It probably is. Don't worry Mom, I've got it!" Alex yelled.

He opened it to see all of his fleshy friends at the door. Claudio started off the conversation by being as friendly as possible. "Hey hey Alex! How are you doing?"

"Alex!" Rory greeted him with less general enthusiasm.

Alex didn't say a word. He was too busy monologuing to himself about and his pals' character traits.

"Alex." Vella became frustrated by Alex's monologuing already. She clapped in front of his face, still getting no responses. "Forget it." She said, and let the rest of her friends into the house.

"Where do we put our stuff for the Secret Santa?" Chondra asked. "We don't want this stuff to break."

Rory likes Santa. "Yay Santa." He smiled for the first time in years because he was thinking about Santa instead of his dead sister.

Alex's mom came into the room and smiled. "Oooh sweeties, just put them under the tree."

The Yiik gang put the presents under the tree. "When can we open them?" Michael wondered. "Presents presents presents presents." He muttered under his breath.

"✨ We could absolutely do it at this very moment, now that WE'VE arrived! ✨" Essentia 2000  and Panda announced at the top of the stairs. Essentia 2000 threw Panda on top of the Chitmas tree like a girlboss, then zoomed down the stairs into Alex's Mom's loving arms.

Alex was very bitter about the fact that his mom got to get with Essentia 2000.

"I'm perfectly happy with that." Alex's mom cheerfully stated as she ignored Alex.

"Great! Let's just get started then." Vella made happy noises.

Claudio wanted the rules to be clarified. "Wait, how are we going to organize this?"

"I was thinking that one person starts, and then the person who received the gift would be the person who gives the gift to the next person, and so on." Alex said in a grumpy manner.

"Let's do this!" Rory said in an almost monotone manner.

They all sat near the Christmas tree and got the presents that they prepared. Alex went first because he wanted to.

"So, I got Chondra a little something." Alex gave her a small, wrapped box.

She opened it up to find a small rainbow pride flag pin. "Alex! I never thought you knew that I was a lesbian!" Alex looked at her with a dumbfounded expression while she applied the pin to her beanie. "Thanks a ton!"

Alex just assumed that she liked rainbows for no particular reason. "You're welcome."

"Oh yea! Rory, I got you your gift!" She happily shoved a wrapped vinyl case into Rory's hands."

Rory unwrapped the vinyl to find a copy of Pink Floyd's The Wall. "Thanks, Chondra. I've never heard this one before." He said in a genuine manner.
