Your eyes narrowed. You knew that was a bald-faced lie. The students knew to not let anyone in... meaning that your family must have intimidated an actual child to let them in, in order to find you and say who the hell knows what to you.

You knew it wouldn't be good though. It never was.

"I'm going to have to ask you all to leave then." You told them. "No unathorized persons are allowed on UA's-"

"Oh? So no using your job as the main excuse for why we can't see you and you see us?" Your mother shook her head and sneered at you. "Do you have no morals? No sense of loyalty?"

"I'm not going to start this here, mom." You told her. "This is my place of work. Please leave."

"We will after we talk." Your father finally spoke.

You inhaled sharply and glared at him. Your sister gasped at your expression, your mother continued to shake her head and your brother looked to have expected no better of you. You could feel Eri shift hesitantly from behind you, no doubt sending how you were uncomfortable.

"And what are you here to talk about?" You asked, knowing to not show any cracks in your foundation right now.

"About how you treat you own family!!" Fumiko cried out.

"Excuse me?"

"You heard our little sister." Daiichi muttered and pinched his temple. "I really expected more of you, (Name)."

"I suppose there is always one." Your mother hummed and gave you a disappointed look. "Oh? And what is behind you?"

Your family's eyes shifted to Eri and the girl tensed up. You covered her more and breathed out in order to calm yourself before you spoke to them once more.

"Eri lives here at UA. She was helping me with-"

"Oh?! So you picked a little girl over us?" Fumiko was rearing to have a go at you it seemed.

"Doesn't she have parents of her own to go be with?" Your mother huffed. "You are not her mother nor should she treat you as you are."

"I expected you to be the last person children wanted to be around." Daiichi chuckled.

"If you were so desperate for a family..." Your father spoke. "Then why disown your own?"

"Leave."

All four of them looked at you. You merely pointed at the gate. Your temper was boiling. You were used to them each digging into you... but not Eri. She had been through enough. She didn't deserve to be hurt by your toxic family.

"And why should we?!" Fumiko gave you a smug look.

"You should because a member of Yuuei Academy staff has asked you to."

You turned to see Aizawa approaching. He looked to have just come from the main building and spotted what was happening right in UA's main courtyard. Both you and Eri relaxed at the sight of him. Aizawa paused by the pair of you and looked out to your family with a long and a hard look.

"And who are-"

"Aizawa Shouta." He didn't let your mother finish. "I'm a head teacher here and I too am asking you to leave the premises."

"We are allowed to be here. UA is a school, isn't it? One that anyone may visit, tour, and apply to, correct?" Your father spoke and Aizawa nodded.

"It is. But that only applies when it fits in with our school's rules. Today is not an open day for approved visitors, a tour day for potential students, or an entrance exam day. So... you are not permitted on our grounds."

Your family didn't speak again, but they each narrowed their eyes at Aizawa. Aizawa only sighed but held his ground. He didn't know what they wanted from you- but they were not going to have their way with their behavior. Both now... and how they acted in their histories with you.

"I'll ask you one final time to leave UA's grounds." Aizawa spoke towards your family. "While we do all family visits, they must be made in advance and approved by UA staff... no matter if you are the family of a student or a staff member."

Aizawa picked up Eri and placed her into your arms. He nodded to you both and then turned back around to look at your family. He cleared his throat and motioned for them to get moving. Your father looked ready to open his mouth, but stopped when Aizawa cut him off before he could even start to utter a syllable.

"I've asked you nicely. Now. Leave or you will experience first hand how UA handles trespassers and how our new security system works." He told them, staring your father down.

Aizawa stood his ground and your father appeared to be holding his. After a few moments of awkward and passing silence, your father huffed and turned his back to you, Eri and Aizawa. He motioned for your siblings and mother to do the same and all four started towards the entrance gate they had entered. You frowned, hoping that poor student they ambushed and overwhelmed was okay. You'd have to find them yourself later and check upon them. Gods know how heavy your family could be when all four of them teamed up together against a single person.

"Don't expect us to make such a visit again." Your mother muttered out, her nose in the air.

"I expected no better from a school known to create egotistical and dangerous heroes..." Fumiko sneered.

"Hush now you two." Daiichi sternly scolded them. "It's not wise to make such comments when so many high people are in UA's hands. Wait until we leave and then you should be able to make your opinions known without repercussions for merely expressing yourselves."

You watched them all go, staring intently at their disappearing figures. You didn't turn away until you saw them each leave through the gate and it lock once again afterward. You finally could breathe again, as your safe space was once safer.

"Are you still sad?" Eri asked you with a deep frown on her features.

You blinked and looked at her directly. You shook your head and then gave her a gentle poke on her nose with the hand that was not holding her up. Eri giggled and seemed happy to know that you were happy. Therefore, you were happy to know that Eri was happy because you were happy.

Footsteps made you and Eri stop your giggling and you both looked up to see Aizawa was looking at you. His face was long, but he didn't look upset. More so concerned that you might still be putting on an act simply for Eri's sake.

All it took to change that was one simple shake of your head. Aizawa let out a deep breath, knowing that you were being truthful. He walked forward and put his hand on your shoulder, the one not on the side with Eri.

"I'm sorry." He told you.

"Why are you apologizing?" You chuckled. "It was my family who showed up and decided to cause a scene. I should be the one thanking you. I couldn't get them to leave, but you did. I appreciate it more than you know, Aizawa."

He exhaled deeply and nodded his head. Slowly, he pressed his lips to the top of your forehead and you inhaled sharply. When he pulled away from his small dose of affection, a smirk came onto his lips. You tried to collect yourself, but Eri's muttering about how your face was the shade of Kirishima's hair did not help at all.

"A simple forehead kiss makes you this flustered?"

"I-It's my quirk!!"

"Well, should I use mine and see if that's true?"

"Aizawa!"

Eri just watched as the pair of you continued to argue about why your face was so red and if it was made worse by your quirk or not. She giggled lightly, seeing as despite how you both were clearly having a spat, it was not intense or fueled by angry emotions. It was fun and light and full of teasing.

And after having seen what an actual fight looked like from moments before... Eri knew that this type of fight was the one she most definitely preferred. Especially when it brought a smile to both you and Aizawa's faces the more ridiculous the words and reasonings for what caused what and why got.
