This is the start of my summer in the new city where my family relatives live. My parents decided to throw me away from my home town because they said I am a hard headed and never follow any rules, and I remember my father said; I was a failure and never proud of me because he didn't raise a child to be such an idiot like me. My own family disregarded me, never claimed me as their family with their blood circulating to my body.

I have lots of insecurities. First, I am fat or chubby( that's what they called me). I'm different from the other girls to my city which is beautiful with a good build of their bodies. I always admit that I always eat a lot. No one can deny the food especially if there were threats or someone's pay it for you. Second, I'm not a genius. I always get an F in my grades. I usually sleep in my room and never listen to my teacher's discussions, and they never care about me too; so, the feeling is mutual. Lastly, I am out of my zone. I distance myself from everybody. I don't like people like I hate my fake friend's faces. They always betrayed me, making some stories that didn't happen in real life but everyone's believing. I'm kinda disappointed because no one will save me when I need help.

I'm riding a train to go to another city, and I always look at the paper that I hold because I need to memorize the address for my aunt's house, and also I need it to memorize to prevent me to cause embarrassment in a different place.

After a few minutes of riding, I go to the station to ride a bus to lead me to my destination.
The people here are so nice than in my home town. They are so generous and kind. It's gonna be the start of my day, probably I will like to be here and never go back.

When I finally got inside, I find a comfortable seat. I decided to go on the back, it's not a bright as the other parts and it will help to think and emote silently while other people mind their businesses. I sit in near the window and the left side of mine is vacant, but I don't give a care.

Until there is a man were the same age as mine. I look at him and study him secretly. He has a bad boy look but it doesn't fit into his innocent face. He looks like a baby that I want to pinch his face all day. I didn't realize that he was looking at me and giving me a wink that makes my heart crazy. Yeah, that was the first time I felt blush and someone makes me smile.

...

After the long and enjoyable ride. I am here at the place where my other family relatives live. I'm facing their door and arguing my mind and body to knock on their door. I don't have words to say to greet them or welcome them. Kinda awkward because I didn't know or live with them, and I didn't know what will be the treatment they'll give to me.

I let out a deep sigh then lift my hand and form it into a ball to knock on the door. When they heard someone's knocking, there is the lady who's shouting "wait" but in a soft and gentle voice.

I waited until the doors open and I saw a middle-aged woman who has glasses to her eyes and have some white hair on her head. She smiled at me and greeted me with a warm and lovely hug. That would be the best hug that I received in my whole life.

" You must be, Alissa?" She said while smiling. She grabbed my backpack then put it into the vacant chair near us. She put her hand into my shoulder and massage them.

" Um... that's not Alissa, it's Alice. My parents made a final decision that my name would be Alice instead of Alissa." I heard her laugh slightly and it makes me laugh too.

" I apologise, I usually forget the information that has been stuck in my head. You know, ageing, you get old, you must forget everything."

" No, it's okay. We're human, we are not perfect. But other people pretend to be a perfect one even though their mess is clearly to be seen." She's done by massaging my shoulder. I thank her because I'm new here and she treats me like her long lost child.

" Are you hungry? I have a portion of food to prepare."

"I'm hungry. I need to push my shyness away to have food to eat. Thank you for the good treatment you give to me." She just smiles and leaves me while she's preparing the food for her kitchen.

When I'm alone in her living room, I decided to grab my bag then look for some important things that I might need someday.

While digging my bag, I saw a picture that clipped into my favourite book. I grabbed it and saw my picture with my parents and my brother who smiling widely, and you never think it will destroy in the future.

I never thought it will reach like this. My parents will treat me like this. And I thought my family from a different place will be my safe place, but I was wrong.
