Athena was born in the year 1998, her mother Lauren was married to a guy named Jack, the child's father.
Lauren gave birth to her on a storming night, the nurse called Jack to tell him that his wife would have a little Chance of suviving the birth and if he want to See her a last time he should quickly come to the hospital.
Jack desperate from fear of losing his wife and quickly got into the car to get to the hospital. It poured heavily and thundered strong on his way, he got onto the highway but as strong as it poured he barely sees the car in Front of him. There wasn't a lot of traffic but as soon as he got closer to the hospital he pushed the gas and crashed into another car. At the same time a healthy little girl was born, Athena. Her mother barely made it and slept most of the time, only two days later she found out that her husband died on the day of the birth.
She silently cried all night and slept during the day, Athena was looked after by the nurses. After some time when Athena turned 2, Lauren has recovered and slowly took care of athena and gave her love and attention, before she had only taken care of basic needs, like eating, drinking and going to sleep, but sometimes during those 2 years she drank desperately and yelled at her, that is why Athena grew up being more silent and submissive.
Lauren made up her mind as she saw Athena one day covering her body as she yelled at her and walked towards her, she promised to herself that she would never ever raise her voice at her again and love her as much as she could.
So far athena grew up pretty healthy except that trauma keeping her quiet but she had lovely moments with her mother, they often went to the aquarium and to the park to walk and eat ice cream.
Athena went to school and found two Friends, Helen and Mark, they met at the aquarium a few times and met again in the school she attended, Mark was unfortunately a class above but they still were often together.
Athena never minded not knowing her father but she was worried about her mother because she always looked hurt when she smiled she tried to cheer her up by doing the dishes or cooking simple food and after some time as she kept on smiling and comforting her, Lauren's expressions became brighter and with her 8th Birthday she was happily living with her mother, the school also went good and she's now very close with her friends.
But as good as things went there was still a huge problem waiting for her.
