Tony loved his son, there was no doubt about it. The man whose heart was metal for the world was completely different with his kid. To the world he was a Stark, Genius, Billionaire, Playboy , Philanthropist, Iron man... and so on. Then again these were the masks he wore, with his kid, it was a totally different story.
The man that the world thought they knew didn't exist.
Here is a father that loves his child more than anything in the universe, that would fight against gods, aliens and hell itself to make sure that his baby lives and make sure no one could hurt him.
Apparently this was a secret know only to few.
