A sea of sand lies endlessly, boundless, farther than anything the eye can see. All is peaceful and silent. The wind ceased to whisper its secrets to the earth's ears and the waters to flow on its lips. Motionless hills stand lethargic and life itself looks missing. All of life ? Well... maybe not...
Some small transparent shadows fill the void with their presence and revolve around legions of statues stuck in place. They run up the alleys of people standing still very carefully just so they do not touch a single one. Some birds look to fly their way back in time but they take great care as well not to hit their own carcasses, which look like they were pinned down to the move they were making just before the great cataclysm.
A silhouette sat on the floor with a stick on his knees, right in the middle of a stone circle which go around both people who move and those who can not anymore. The little ghosts come and take their place. They watch out for the darkness cast upon the floor by the unmoving statues.
