First Chapter
Monday 3:30 pm
"George, phone for you!"
"A minute!" I said. I am so much busy with my works at makakapaghintay naman siguro 'yan.
"George! Can you please answer this, first? I need to call someone." Emma said.
"You can use the phone first. I'm still busy." Nilagpasan ko lang sya at pumunta na ako sa office.
I knocked thrice before entering the office.
"Good Afternoon, Sir. Here's the monthly report you asked me."
"Just leave it there." Sir Matt, my boss, said without looking at me.
Lumabas na ako at marami pa akong kailangang i-edit.
I am working in a photography studio and I'm a photographer but since kulang kami sa manpower, I'm an editor, too.
"George, sinagot ko na yung tawag sayo. By the way, that's your mom." Emma said.
We only have two telephones every department and unfortunately, sira yung isang telepono.
"Oh. Okay. I'll text her na lang. Thanks, Ems."
To: Nanay
Hi, nay! Busy sa office po e. Bkit po kyo napatawag?

I opened again my computer and continued editing.
Kahit na madami kami dito, (siksikan na nga actually) iilan lang kaming editors kaya palagi kaming rush lalo na at sa akin yung final editing. Palagi akong nagagahol sa oras at yung printing pa naman ay palaging nagmamadali.

My phone beeped. Galing kay Nanay at kay Sir Matt.
I opened Nanay's message first.
From: Nanay
Anak, pwede k bang umuwi ng maaga ngaun? Nsa ospital n nmn ksi ang bunsoy. Mukhang di n spat ang nebu.
Received 4:00 pm
To: Nanay
Ano pong nangyari 'nay? Sige po uwi po ako agad. Wag na po kyo mag-alala ky bunsoy.
Sent 4:03 pm
Sunod ko namang binuksan yung isang message.
From: Matt-igas
George, dinner later?
Received 3:55 pm
Tumaas ang kilay ko sa nabasa ko. Akala ko ba, no office romance? Tsk. Tsk.
Tinago ko na lang ang phone ko at bumalik sa ginagawa ko.
Monday 6:21 pm
"Una na 'ko, Ems."
"Osige, I'll pass this na lang sa publishing later. Ikamusta mo na lang ako kay bunso." she said.
Emma is my bestfriend. Well, sya yung nagpasok sakin dito. Senior ko sya sa college at org mates kami. Nauna syang gumraduate sakin, then after 2 years, (after my graduation) we met again sa isang exibit.
Nag-log out ako saka nag-abang ng taxi sa labas ng office. Naku, rush hour pa naman ngayon. May mga taxi nga, puro may pasahero naman.
"Hey, need a ride?"
