Music 🤠

The first thing you should probably know about me is that I can be picky with my music. I'm mostly into country and Contemporary and Bluegrass Christian, but I also listen to some pop.

🤠: when it comes to country music, I LOVE older songs and songs that tell stories. You can NEVER go wrong with Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, Brad Paisley, Joe Diffie, George Jones, Alan Jackson,band Randy Travis. But it's not like those are the only people I listen to, it's just that some other artists make both good and bad songs. For example, I can't stand songs that say things such as "I love your love" or "I'm in love with the way you make me feel" like, do you love me, or just the way I make you feel cuz if it's the latter, I'm out! P.S. On a side note, I have a younger sister who sounds JUST like Dolly and she's gonna be a famous country star when she's older and imma be so super proud of her! (actually I already am) 🤩

⛪️: When it comes to contemporary Christian, it's kinda confusing cuz I can listen to almost all of it but for a lot of them, if you took the same exact music and made it a pop song, I'd probably hate it (no offense to you pop lovers out there). That said, I absolutely LOVE Alan Jackson and Randy Travis who, as mentioned before, also sing some INCREDIBLE country music

💥: Sorry, I couldn't think of a better emoji to say "pop". Ok, don't get me wrong, I love a lot pop music, but another lot of it I hate. Idk what it is that makes me like it or not like it. Sometimes I like it cuz I can relate to it. Sometimes I don't like it cuz it sounds too obnoxious or girls are going on and on about how they miss their ex, but like, if he's such a jerk, why do you miss him so much? Also, (sorry crazy fan girls) I can't stand Olivia Rodrigo! I love her in Bizzardvark, but her music is soooooo annoying. I had to listen to her same three songs at least a hundred times in a mission trip in New Orleans. Not to mention, I already hated her songs, but to have to listen to them constantly? It was torture! Again, sorry crazy fan girls, please don't kill me!

Another Music Problem: whenever I go to other people's houses for parties, or if we're carpooling with a bunch of girls, they're always playing obnoxious pop songs that I can't stand and never any of the songs I like (I'm not exactly the coolest cat around. I'm more of a dog person). And then, when I ask if I can play a song everyone's all like "ew! Country is gross! I hate country!" And I'm just over here like "we all gotta hillbilly bone down deep inside..." But ya, that's been going on my whole life and it's really annoying and depressing. But whatever, it's better than faking it I guess?
