That brilliant moment was the only memory I've been looping and re-looping inside my head, as if it was a video-tape. That day, that magnificent sunrise was the only moment I've felt happy. Happy as in pure bliss and joy.
My life has been sad and wretched, and up till now, I still have a lot of problems to solve, a lot of troubles and worries to erase from my mind. But every time I wake up in the morning and look through those glass windows—straight at the glorious sunrise—the dazzling, gleaming ball of light recalled all of my happiest memories—with that boy—and I would feel temporary joy.
But was it worth to love someone such far and distant? Someone that didn't have any feelings for you? Was it worth all my life? My family? My friends? And my happiness?
Dear reader, decide for yourself after you've finished reading this book. I hope you will understand my unwillingness to let go, my stubborn behaviour toward others, and all of my hardship, sorrows, pain and struggles.
Hear me out, dear reader, for I will pour out the truth of my past—my own history, crammed inside this untidy notebook, just like any other history textbooks, except this records all of the events that happened in my life, and I do hope that you treasure this precious story I'm about to tell you.
Because, as my mother says, stories are light to a dark, dark world, a world with fears, dangers and sins. But stories are like flickering candles, lighting the despaired a way back home, shining through the hearts of sinful men, and giving hope and aspiration to the desperate—no matter how little it is, it is crucial to those who seek light. Light that is about to shine upon you, if you happen to have stumbled across this paticular book. I trust that fate or destiny chose you, so listen carefully, dear reader. I am going to let you into a vortex of emotions, feelings, thoughts, dialogues and circumstances, and I hope that you're prepared.
Alright, show more than tell right? Let's go.
