Run. Running. Faster. Quicker.
The forest floors feels damp in my naked feet. Im running through this eerie forest, it's noon and I'm running. There coming for me. My death is inedible. My father will kill me, if it's the last thing he does.
I hear shouting from behind me, there footsteps grow louder. There gonna get me. I make a stop at a giant white tree of which I've never seen before. It's tall, beautiful and has thin engravings on the bark.
"She's over here" shouts a rayforer. I instantly panic and my fight or flight begins to kick in, but before I get the chance I feel a hand grip my shoulder. I turn around so quickly and knee him in his crotch. "Ouch" he says.
"BRANDON!" I shout, instant regret hits me, they will be on their way. They must have heard me. "Hiya rose, having a nice run?" He asks, with a tint of pain in his voice.
He grabs my arm and pulls me towards the tree "there's too much to explain right now, just listen to this. Go to the palace and find Trinity she can help you." He punches his finger into the tree, the tree starts to seem with sunlight and wind.
"What's going on Brandon, why are you here and what the fuck is this?" I say, waving my hands at the tree. The wind gets stronger and my hair flows through the sky, god I wish I never killed him.
"As I said, there's too much to explain, now go" he says. I refuse to move until he eventually pushes me inside the tree. The light absorbs me, it drags me inside the bark. I can see Brandon battling the rayforers, then I'm in this beautiful place with a gorgeous river stream somewhere beyond the hill I find myself perched upon, it sounds amazing.
"Where the hell am I." I say.
