(This will be turned into a comic, just posting it as a story for now)
The day had just begun, the world of Ethens was rather quiet. Usually was since the days that the Kilins took over. The creature's were all in their villages or the cities. But it wasn't so quiet for the Kilin council due to some suspicious activities from the Trels. The demon fox's have always posed a problem, yet not as much as now. No one has had any report of them. At this point the creature's wanted to find the Trels kingdom and set it ablaze, to keep them from destroying their homes. But the council had to disagree, they were all about peace and finding a better solution.
"When was the last time we saw a Trel?" One of the council members asked, she had blonde hair and dark skin, all Kilins had the dark skin and usually light coloured hair anyway. Her eyes as black as the night. Her horns were the most massive of any Kilin still alive, that was due to her age and wisdom. She was the head council member and forty-nine. "Feels like forever." One of the members asked. "Someone suggested we bring a human in to help, since they are great at hunting." Another one said, sounding a little disgusted. Like the different species of demons, humans loved hunting down innocent creatures and killing them, that and bombs. "No one answered my question." The head council member hissed softly, she hated when everyone was so panicked. "Five months now ma'am." Enr answered, he rarely talked, but the head council saw him as a better suit for the job than most of these rock heads. "Thank you Enr." She said with a soft groan. Then she realized what one of the members had said. "Did you say something about humans?" She asked looking at the Kilin who said it. "Uh...yes. some people feel like we should as the human leader to help. I mean they have to listen to you anyway." The member said, he sounded nervous now. Enr narrowed his eyes at the council member.
The head council member tapped her chin. "You do make a point. But Kugar hates helping people. If anything he'd side with the Trels." She pointed out. "Haven't you heard?" That previous member said, which made the head council member raise an eyebrow at him. "Kugar is dead. Six months ago, he was killed." The member said, talking as if this was gossip. The council room seemed to ho quiet. "How did he die?" Enr asked after what seemed like hours of silence. The member shrugged. "Humans are secretive. For all we know Kugar could of died ages ago." He pointed out. Enr had to agree on that, but at tye same time didn't seem right. All creature's on Ethens had to listen to the head council, they had to report everything they knew or everything they could. Why were the humans starting to be more secretive? "Enr." The head council member said, she had been staring st him for awhile now. "Yes?" He made eye contact with her, her eyes were almost like a black orb that just sucked the soul out of the person. It was a shame she was close to death. "I want you to go and be a representative. I need you to find information and try and get the humans on our side, we may be in war soon." She said, her voice was like a thousand beautiful birds singing. Enr nodded, even though that task would he very dangerous. "And find out who the new human leader is well you are at it." She said, sliding a transmeter over to him. It was a device Ethens used to communicate from miles away. Came in handy. "Take Marshmellow with you. She needs a good run." She said. Enr nodded and grabbed the transmeter, without another word he got up and left the room.
He went down to the royal stables were the steeds were kept. Horses were used for humans and elves. Kilins liked using a much faster and stronger steed. Dragolens. Some say they are a cross between the dragon and a horse, others say they are just a strand of dragon species. Either way, Enr hated riding them. Sure they were faster and could go miles with no rest, they rarely drank any water and they could just eat whatever and be fine, plus their strength was incredible. But they were feisty and stubborn, more than a horse for sure. And Marshmellow wasn't any better than his normal steed.
He walked over to her stable, she was just laying, half asleep in her stable. She was covered in glossy white scales with a tinted yellow mane, unlike horse mane Dragonlens had what Kilins called, Dragon mane. Many Chinese Dragons had the same or similar mane around their crests and under their chin. She had horns that spiraled out and up. She had the body of a horse with a dragon tail that was curled around her hooves, but she had the head of a dragon. She yawned, showing her beautiful white teeth that could tear any piece of meet to pieces. She opened her eyes and looked at Enr, snickering. Her eyes were fully black, all Dragonlens had the full black eyes, no one knew exactly why. Enr never questioned it.
