"You said you needed to see me?" She quietly said as she put her bag down, sitting on the chair behind the desk.

"I just need to ask a few questions that I'm having trouble finding the answer to some questions that I can't find the answer to, are you comfortable with just answering a few questions?" He asked as he looked up from the file in his hand.

no.

"Yes of course." Elina answered, trying her best not to pick at her nails or lips again as she relaxed her body.

"So during your kidnapping, there is no evidence of neither you or your friend making a phone call to the police, why is that if I may ask?"

"There wasn't enough time, I knew they wouldn't get there in time. Plus, I believe our screams and gunshots were enough for at least someone to understand we are in danger."

"And when you were taken, do you remember anything happening at all?"He frowned his brows.

"No, unfortunately I was not awake at all." She answered. She gave this answer so it would be safer for both violet and Elina to get their stories straight, they didn't have to get it straight if there was no story to even talk about.

"And you just randomly woke up back in your bed?"

"yup."

"Is there anything else you would like to add from your last statement?" He asked putting the lid back on the pen, frowning his eyebrows.

"No, sorry. I cant remember." She let out a deep breathe.

"Alright." He nodded, "I believe we're done here for now." He blew out his cheeks as he got up to lead her out of the room

Violet was deep in thoughts to notice her best friend walking into the cold and bright apartment, papers spread out all over the bare ground, her fingers almost swollen from biting her cuticles too much.

"Vi?" Elina called out as she closed the door, taking the key out as she watched her friend turn towards her with tired eyes, giving her a look of 'What happened?' while frowning her brows.

"It went smoothly- I don't think he's suspicious, what now?" Elina answered dropping her purse onto the sofa, beginning to take of her jacket as she walked over to her friend.

"Good. now we need to go find him, we have a lot to do Elina." she blew out of her cheeks, getting up to her knees as she started to pick up all the paper from the ground.

"Okay." Elina answered, "wait- what's all of this?" she questioned as some of the paperwork caught her eyes, looking at the pictures clicked to them while kneeling down to pick one up.

"Those are the people we need to find for help, as long as i'm concerned we can trust them." Violet answered.

"How are you so sure?" She held the picture up with her right hand, holding a page with a specific adress written on it with the other hand, "What if they go and tell the police... or worse, my father." She looked closely at the picture to see the blonde boy standing in front of a random door, looking away as he held a key in his hands.

"Yeah I don't think you have to worry about that El." Violet walked closely to Elina to look at the picture, "He goes by kai, he's also Vinnie Hackers best-friend." She continued, "He's close to Vinnie more than anyone, he would never go against his will." she took a pause to hand her another picture, "And that, that's Tiffany, the closest thing the Hackers have to a daughter, like a sister to Vinnie as I heard." She finished flipping the picture to stare look at the address written down behind it.

"How do you know all of this?" Elina asked, pushing a strand of hair behind her ears as she handed the pictures back to her.

"I did my research, now all we need to do is go and find them, this is easy considering malakai is willing to help us." Violet answered while putting all the pictures in the file and pushing it under the sofa.
