The short starts off with a naked Branch

And he is putting on his clothes in timing with tha music

In the background we could see christmas lights and it was revealed later that it is the "holiday season"
Idk if in the trolls world there is a season with more and special holidays to selebrate than the rest of the year since we all know that the trolls selebrate something everyday
But bacc to Branchie
He is dressing up for what he thinks is his first date with Poppy UwU
And I mean it kinda was but also not the way expected djdhdjdjs

So in twt we saw that Branch was veeery shy to tell Poppy his feelings or say anything against her cuz he was scared that she wouldn't like him back or that he would loose her if he showed how he really felt. And apparently according to one of the trolls creators, twt took place about 2 weeks before this holiday special
And now when Branch got to know Poppy feel the same he is more confident but still a bit dragged back to not go too fast forward in their relationship cuz he thinks he could freak her out.

Barb said: "Wait, you got your BOYFRIEND? That's a lot of pressure" after Poppy exitedly told her she got Branch as her giftswap person

Forreal I clapped my hands so hard when she said that, it hurt
And I squealed XD

And to Barb's comment Poppy didn't seem confused, chocked or whatever, she just went on as if it is normal, no questions asked
"Pressure? Pff, come on it's me we are talking about, the gift master, the giftinator, I got it covered"
And as I have talked about before
Poppy is good at hiding her feelings
This is a prime example cuz by now we know what she put in that huuuuge giftbox
And least to say she has been super anxious over finding a good gift as well as hiding her anxiousness. So in order to seem normal and get her mind cleared up she help everyone else
It is part of her job by now to hide her feelings
Cuz if she look sad, feel bad or anxious people are gonna freak out, over-help her and causing panic and stress for everyone as well as Poppy since she is the queen and nothing should happen to her
So Poppy only shows more of her feelings to those she feel close to and comfy around
And I was so happy to see how much Poppy had opened up her romantic feelings for Branch in this special
She has had them all along and can finally show some of them
And it has only been around 2 weeks since she could feel safe doing this
2 weeks since she got to know Branch felt the same, and she could finally show her feelings without being terrified of him not being able to take all the affection
But she is still going a bit slow reeling him in
