TW: Abuse, Murder, Mental Illness

Born in Beijing, China to wealthy parents in the law industry, whom had graduated highschool, college and university with top grades, in 1988. Wendy was raised quite sheltered from the outside world, though her parents pushed her to extremes academically at such a young age-- bringing in harsh punishments if she didn't get what the exactly wanted her to get in her grades. They would always belittle her for getting the slightest thing wrong, and forced her into piano lessons at a young age, dating back at just three years old.

She would go days with little food if she messed up slightly, and be beaten with wooden sticks, burnt with lighters and scolded with hot water as a punishment, this was how her parents were raised, and believed it was normal, hence why they believed what they were doing was completely normal. Such punishments were a ruler over her knuckles, if she were to press the wrong key during piano, her fingers would have drawing pins stuck in them. She would play until her fingers physically bled.

Wendy grew up fearing failure, and was quite an ambitious child. She wanted to be the perfect child for her parents, yet no matter how hard she tried, it was never good enough for her parents. From a young age, Wendy had an obsession with the human anatomy, and the question: what happens after you die? She attended Cherrywood High, and her parents forced her to enroll in a medical course in college. She was awarded a scholarship to a top university, getting the highest grades on her course, and worked extremely hard to get her PhD in nursing, and psychologist, getting her a position as a psych ward nurse and therapist at the Rosewood mental health institute.

Wendy was slowly spiralling mentally, after the years of mental abuse, and even physical and emotional abuse from her parents, and often had breakdowns in her office. She went from a happy, bright and intelligent young girl, to a cold, harsh and empty woman. She didn't care for her patients, like she promised she would as a little girl, and often took her anger out on said patients, screaming at them and beating them, though she did end up snapping one day, and her mind went blank. She seized a hold of her patient, needle in one hand and gauged it straight into the patients neck, killing said patient.

This was not the first murder she had committed, she often drugs her patients if she were to kill them, and once she did, she put it down as an overdose, and would blame over colleagues. Though she is a remorseless woman, who sticks to her job but is a feared nurse. Whenever anyone in the psych ward heard the name "Dr Otoshi" they panicked.
